Awsome Video of Ryan Frazier a black Republican seeking a U.S. Senate in Colorado

Watch this new slick new video from Ryan Frazier an African American Republican seeking a U.S. Senate campaign. Check it out. It’s really worth the 2+ minutes to view. Kudos both to the person(s) who recorded the raw video footage of Ryan’s speech and to the person(s) who edited it into a high-quality product.

What Battlestar Galactica Taught Me About Healthcare Reform

Conservative (Republican) Winter or Rebirth?

Much has been made of party indentification and the demographics of the country since 2006 when Republicans were first drubbed. Several prominent Republican strategists have come out and said that the GOP's failure to adapt to changing ideas and demographics in the country will leave them in a long icy winter of minority status. True or not though the fact remains that far more people label themselves conservative then moderate or liberal. According to a new Gallup poll 40% label themselves cons… Continue

Support for Iranians

An Iranian American recently said this:

“The bottom line right now is whose violence threshold is higher? How much are the hard-liners willing to inflict to suppress the population and tell yet another generation to shut up? And how much are Moussavi and his supporters willing to stand to fulfill their dreams? It sounds so inhuman, but that’s what it comes down to. It’s very scary.”

You can declare your support as part of the coalition supporting the new generation of Iranians. Use the graphic… Continue

Teacher fired for Conservative viewpoints presents greater problem

Tim Latham, who spent the past 19 years teaching students American history and government, was fired fired from his job at Lawrence High School in Kansas.

Latham claims it has nothing to do with his abilities as a teacher and everything to do with his conservative politics.

He said it has been a series of events that led up to the schools decision. The administration became upset when he would not play President Obama's inaugural address for the class to watch. They also questioned him on his… Continue

One Million Members for RtP by 2010

Hello fellow GOPer's,
I was thinking tonight about the impact that RtP could really have. As of right now, I don't feel that RtP is being used to it's full potential. The feeling I'm getting is that, while we are all part of RtP, we have somewhat secluded ourselves from one another with all of the specific issues. Don't misunderstand, we need all of the different groups that hone in a certain topic or issue. But we should also be working as a whole, with one or many of the same goals. So, I prop… Continue

Obama Economics "dumbed" down

I came acorss these YouTube vids, and thought they were awesome! Most people can't comprehend what a billion or trillion dollars look like, but the creator does a great job of simplifying it in his videos. Please pass these on, especially to any dem or lib friends you might have, LOL.

Google Group

Google has a great way for organizations and groups to organize through Google Groups. Essentially, it's an intranet where people can communicate and share files, thoughts, and ideas, within a particular google group. There are various settings to allow for a more public or private group.

Campaigns and local party committees could benefit greatly by using google groups as a way to share ideas and plan events together. Collaborating is important and this is a very efficient way to better organiz… Continue

How the Dems Won in 2006

I have talked about Rahm Emanuel and his tactics a few times on here. The following is a lengthy, but very interesting article about how he helped the Dems to win in 2006. Yes, some things were working against Republicans (and, of course, the media slams them as soon as they make mistakes, unlike Dems who stay in office, even after avoiding taxes, or accusing the CIA of lying). Anyhow, a couple of things stand out to me. First, he went with more conservative candidates, especially in areas where… Continue

PETITION: Stop Senate Democrats From Censuring Republicans On Healthcare Reform

To Sign The Petition, Please go to Stop Universal Healthcare!. The GOP can't stop them, but WE THE PEOPLE can!

A controversial political maneuver called Reconciliation is a budget process where the ruling party in Congress (Democrats) can fast track a bill into law without debate on the Senate floor, deny concessions from the minority party (Republicans) to make the bill bipartisan and it gives the ruling party full control over the specif… Continue

ReBoot Delaware

I had the pleasure of meeting over 80 Delaware activists this week for an activist workshop. We covered many aspects of how they can become a better activist by saving time and reaching a broader audience. The questions were great and there is a real thirst out there among the GOP faithful to learn new ways and be stronger campaigners.

While discussing best practices for collecting information, and not treating the web as a glorified electronic billboard, I was asked about "internet security."… Continue

Rebuilding the Republican Party - How?

It is my belief that the rebuilding of the Republican party must begin with you (Yes, YOU!) and me. Our goal can not only be winning next election or the election after that, although we must take short term tactical action for these. Patience and persistence is required. It has taken at least one generation for the liberal values to establish a grip on the American psyche. We must be willing to commit ourselves to just as long an effort to regain the lost ground.

It is easy to be reactive, and… Continue

Political Culture of Corruption, Democrats prove mastery once more

How many of you remember Pelosi and the shrill Democratic mob chanting "Republican culture of corruption" during the 2004 election cycle? I remember it distinctly, and like the description of the father's cursing in A Christmas Story, it's still circling the ionosphere, skipping off and coming back to haunt the Democrats on a daily basis.

Pelosi has been proven to be an opportunistic liar and needs to be impeached. I can't wait for the Democratic lynch mob to start the war crime trials a… Continue

Does this stuff really matter?

I was just reviewing some stats from the Pew Internet & American Life Project about the internets role in the 2008 election and came across some pretty impressive stats.

"Some 74% of internet users--representing 55% of the entire adult population--went online in 2008 to get involved in the political process or to get news and information about the election."

Sure, we can debate the differences… Continue

GOTV - you can do it.

A lot of you Rebuilders are itching to get active, to finally do something for our cause after the losses we suffered in 2008.

This is your chance. We need to help wage a massive GOTV effort to push Jim Tedisco over the finish line on March 31st. The GOTV operation will start on March 27th and conclude on the evening of March 31st (victory night, if we can make it happen).

Need to know more about GOTV, and how you can be part of this process to help the GOP in the blue northeast? Watch… Continue
