The scientific basis of global warming has been well vetted and the details are presented at http://realclimate.org. As I recall there was a meta-study of the roughly 1,000 papers published and peer reviewed 75% find a direct link between human activity and global warming, while the remainder do not draw any conclusion. Absolutely no paper passing peer review stands in opposition. Certain congressional figures, most notable Senator Inhofe, have been wont to trot up pseudo-experts, most notably science fiction writer Michael Crichton, in an effort to 'debunk' global warming. This impresses no one except the shrinking minority here who still think this is an ideological issue.

Most media is left leaning as most are perpetuating the global warming hysteria. Many push the notion of universal health care. And in any disaster they are the first to ask why the government is not doing anything.
I agree with Nick that it is our responsibility to get our news from multiple sources and deduct the truth.

Yep, it's the media's fault that Obama got elected, not the incumbent party's foreign policy and economic policy tanking the country. Damn liberal media! It's so fun to be in denial; that way, you can cast blame to the other side instead of taking a critical look at the home team.
