If not for Hollywood and the Leftist Media, Obama would never have beaten Hillary. Standing strong against all of all listed above would let them and the country know that we will not tolerate them to choose our leaders by misleading the American people with blatant lies and hiding truth. We can work to reform them in the process.

I realize that the media is predominantly leftists, but there are better reasons to boycott and eliminate the media from our lives than their political leanings. It all seems to be built on confrontation and sex. I've had to almost rule out all my daughter's cartoons because they constantly talk down to one another in them. As far as the news media goes, I've stopped expecting any agency to be unbiased. I seek out the round table portions and debate type programs to get my news and form my opinions. Bias is expected on the front end.

Most media is left leaning as most are perpetuating the global warming hysteria. Many push the notion of universal health care. And in any disaster they are the first to ask why the government is not doing anything.

I agree with Nick that it is our responsibility to get our news from multiple sources and deduct the truth.

Boy do I agree with this! We cancelled our cable television. I consider the media to be the second most important brain washing device and the government indoctrination schools to be the first. BOYCOTT is ON!

Indeed. The idea that the media is mostly "liberal" is a ridiculous conspiracy theory. The vast majority of the media have acted like lapdogs for President Bush over the last 8 years. And by just about any count there are more conservatives on TV and radio, even without counting Fox News. I mean, "Mission Accomplished"? Are you kidding me??? If that didn't piss you off, I don't know what to say. Olbermann is just about the TV personality that has given Bush fair treatment.

And if this party is going to continue to close our eyes to the scientific consensus on climate change, then we are in a lot of trouble.

Honestly, didn't you see how Obama did not get challenged ever on any topic, but given a platform to continue his speeches? When someone attempted to do that , you haven't seen how he loses his cool? The only good thing about Obama being president is that I dont have to keep listening to Bush bashing and blaming, and gloom and doom , and.....but now things will change. No. I said that Keith Olbermann gave Bush fair treatment. Most of the rest of the mainstream press acted like lapdogs to anything Bush did, whether it was lying to the country, claiming "Mission Accomplished", violating the Constitution, etc.

Yeah, the press challenged him on every ridiculous topic like his church and questioning his faith, and attacking him for serving on an educational board with a respected Illinois professor, even though the group was funded by Republicans and many of the board members were Republicans. Now, that has to be the biggest laugher of this entire forum. Slamming blacks, hispanics, and gays have been part of the Republican playbook for some time, and now it is finally biting the party on the backside. In this embarassing campaign the Republicans have tried to paint Obama as a Socialist, Marxist, Terrorist, Communist, Racist, Arab, Muslim (using the last two negatively of course, nothing says tolerance like sliming a whole religion and ethnicity), and other negative descriptors. Don't believe me? Listen to Fox News or the Comedian Rush Limbaugh, or listen to a McCain rally.

Yes, that's why I don't listen to the Comedian, Fox News, or read the National Review, etc., and am disgusted by the image the party is projecting.

Ahhh, you miss my point. I'm not one of those global warming is bs types. My beef is the doom and gloom potrayed by the media. We are going to die tomorrow. The other side of my opposition is the liberal perscriptions cited as a cure. This is where we need leadership and solid ideas with a plan to transition us to this sustainable future. This needs to occur without running our economy through the shredder to get there.

It is sad to see you sounding so synical. The Republican Party needs rebuilding not bashing. False statements don't work here either. Olbermann has never given Bush a fair and balanced report card. The only reason the media was tight to Bushes butt was that they all wanted to see if they could get further scoops on the wars, which is doing their jobs in one respect. If your a fan of Olbermann's then you must be more of a Democrat than a Republican. The media didn't do their jobs fully when it came to Obama's relationships with Rev. Wright, Ayers, Kaliti, Resco, etc.. I'm sure that as time goes on, we will learn more about these relationships and other issues regarding Obama in which the American people should have been informed about. The Left Media didn't dig into Obama's background. However they spent thousands of dollars and hours digging into Gov Palin's background. If your so disgusted by the Repbulican Party, then I think that your messages are best discussed on a Democrat's Internet site and leave the rest of us to figure out how to repair our party and to give punitive damage to the media you leads people such as yourself into false beliefs of not only the Republican Party but also as to what reality is in the world. The Left Media has corrupted this nation into following everything it reports as there are more Left leaning reporters than right. Certainly Left leaning owners of NBC have realized that they are leaning left yet they have done nothing to rectify the situation. The Left Media is filling peoples heads with garbage and so many people now live their lives as if they were in the MATRIX. It's long past time for people to demand better of the media. We need fairness and truth so people can live in reality. If it means plugging into Rush, Fox News, Hannity, or some Comedian that gives us truth then that is what we need to to rather than listening to the negativity and falsehoods coming from the LEFT MEDIA who have done this country a grave injustice for many years.
