If you'd like another clip that shows a different Freedom to Facism perspective, but no less valuable a one, get and watchthe movie "EXPELLED" by Ben Stein.
Worth every second of it. I bought this one for myself and my kids to learn from.
Ben Stein is a neo con. He also is a NERD when it comes to economics. He and his keynesian buddies laughed at Peter Schiff 8 months before the economic collapse...and Schiff was right on the money..hehe..so to speak.
God bless Suzanne, do you make up this trash as you go? Stein has so much more intelligence than you do, and one of the most impressive resumes in media entertainment, law, politics and education, that you just show off your PETTY JEALOUSY every time you carry on scorning any GOP official or theme that does not come from Dr. Paul's or Pat Buchanan's back pocket.
Even those two guys can't come up with everything that is good you know.
2 Prozacs at lunchtime girl, not the 1/2 capsule you've been cheating your home nurse with.....
haha watch Ben Stein getting embarrassed by Peter Schiff (Ron Paul's economic adviser)...I'll let the facts speak objectively on this issue...Ben Stein is philosophically a Keynesian like Romney, Mccain, and Giuliani (unlike Schiiff and Dr. Paul who are staunch advocates of the Austrian School of Economics)...
Start watching at the 3:55 mark...Terrance, relax on the name calling before you have all the facts, buddy...
What gets me about Schiff is how he understood correctly when few others did, and still he doesn't get any respect for his view on how to address the problem. He says here that the way out is for government to cut spending, and we're now setting records for new spending. The people ramming that spending down our throats say they didn't see this coming, but they don't want the advice of someone who did. -- That sounds a lot like saying; You have shown you are smarter than us, but we don't respect your opinion at all.
Stop calling people neo-con, you lose credibility when you do that plus it is ignorant to do so since the people you label neo-con are far from being neo-con.
Ok..there are a couple of videos on the video page that explain what a neoconservative is. Yes it is an insult like calling someone a "liberal". Most republicans are not neoconservatives. Here is a short definition of neoconservative from Pat Buchanan's book "Where the Right Went Wrong". If all republicans would read that book...you can see what happened to our party.
"Who are the neoconservatives?
The first generation were ex-Trotskyites, socialists, leftists, and liberals who backed FDR, Truman, JFK, and LBJ. When the Democratic Party was captured by McGovern in 1972--on a platform of "Come Home America!"--these Cold War liberals found themselves isolated and ignored in their own party. Adrift, they rafted over to the Republican Party and were pulled aboard as conservatism's long voyage was culminating in the triumph of Reagan. Neoconservatives were the boat people of the McGovern revolution that was itself the political vehicle of the moral, social, and cultural revolutions of the 1960's." Pat Buchanan
So ..the neoconservatives were former socialist/leftists who abandoned the Democratic Party..when the Democratic Party became the "peaceniks". Some neocons are : Paul Wolfowitz, Bill Kristol, Irving Kristol, Douglas Feith, Michael Ledeen, Elliot Abrams, Bill Bennett, Rumsfeld, Rice, Jeb Bush...all were members of PNAC..a think tank that shaped the GOP foreign policy for the 21s Century ...pre emptive strikes, nation building, and expansion. They all seek to protect Israel, are closely knit to the Likud Party in Israel...and many are dual citizens of Israel.
Hi Suzanne
So why don't the neo cons go back to the Dem party, if they are left leaning?? I guess I am still trying to understand why the GOP has RINOs, seems like GOP is trying to lean left...uh oh, is that why we need to get rid of neo cons?? They are the ones pulling the party left?? SO are RINOs and neo cons the same ilk??
Dang!
Yes I would say the RINO's and the neo cons are the same..they are social liberals but war hawks. Yes, unfortunately, the GOP is moving to the left, especially now that Steele, who is the most moderate, has won. smh
