I joined the Rebuild the Party today and encourage Georgia voters who would like to participate to join now also. We need to build Georgia for even stronger Republican participation. We can do a lot online. Neal C White

What a coincidence! I'm from Georgia and I joined today, as well. I also sent out a couple hundred invitations to others, both in and out of Georgia, to join.
It would be great if we could get a good turnout from this part of the country. We need to keep out bright red complexion!

They have a link on the home page where you can "submit your ideas" on things the new RNC Chair should consider doing. When I came in here this morning, I signed-up and then posted the following "idea". When I came here this afternoon to respond to your post, I had to become a member all over again. I guess the "ning" stuff is separate and not integrated with the non-ning stuff. Oh well, such is life. Over there my name is Dave3200. Over here they use my name.
Here's what I posted over there. I hope it catches a favorable response.

Provide for effective communications with elected officials.
It has become nearly impossible to communicate to our elected representatives or to obtain response other than form letters. With the tools currently available on the net, there is no excuse for elected officials to not hear and respond appropriately to their voters. There are many ways to achieve this without weighing heavily on anyones time. There is no way an elected official can be effective without thorough input from voters on a timely basis. And, there is no way the voters can understand and appreciate the work of their officials without thorough and timely feedback. The best team in the world, without effective communications, will lose.

See ya later.

It is my opinion that the 10 point plan provided on the home page of Build The Party is a good place to start. We may need to mold the plan for Georgia activities.

One important place to start is working with the precinct's. Most precinct meetings are not well attended and only a few seem to be involved. That is the starting point of choosing our delegates for later conventions. Precinct meetings start in February and nominations of delegates who will go to the county, District, and State conventions start at this point.

Listed on the Georgia Republican Party website are all of the County chairmen active to-date. It is important to start to actively being involved in the early stages. Most voters are totally unaware of this activity. We need to beef that up and get as many areas covered as we can. We can do a lot of inviting on the Internet I believe.

It would be good to have a well defined strategy of action for everyone to follow and participate. Any comments here will be appreciated. Neal
