and an Electric Car Component .

Do you think that the US can grow enough fuel (besides corn for Ethanol) to replace a significant percentage of the crude oil we import?

Do you think that 1 million Electric Cars that get 150 MPG can be built for a low enough price that Americans will buy them? Click Underlined link:
Think Electric

The Obama Stimulus Plan is supposed to create "5 million jobs," Click Under Lined Link:

Could this Stimulus Plan be an opportunity for small businesses to create their own versions of Electric cars and trucks?

Yes, the algae-oil fuel is already gaining steam, moving forward with heavy investments by huge players, and has other benefits like fighting crop drought and famine problems, as well as creating stock-feed for our farm animals and livestock.

I'm well educated on this, and invest in it a bit too. I do think alternative energy has to be one of the top FOUR keys in the GOP reforms platform as we move forward.

Tax stimulus will go through no matter who had won the election. McCain, Obama, Clinton, Romney and Huckabee all had this written into their agendas early on, and I believe they all meant it.

We need a new direction and the so called “green cars” are hardly a part of it. Take a car that gets 31MPG using the latest ratings, now how many MPG is that car getting stopped at a red light? Yes, something as simple as timing a set of lights is more important. Furthermore if you took a more then a second to answer that question or had an answer other then zero you need to step back and look at the bigger problem. Depending on where you live I have seen estimates as much as ten to fifteen percent better MPG by improving traffic flow. Socialist liberals can’t seem to shift gears and realize more government is not the solution, government is the problem.

Why must we rely so heavily on our cars, because don’t we have more public transportation to the NYMBY syndrome. Where I live we had a wonderful rail system to support public transportation but the socialist liberals tore them up and put in bike trails (so called green jobs). As if I can depend on a bike to get me to work in the rain and snow.

I have been complaining to our elected officials for some time to brining some conservative common sense to this problem but not many our on the same band wagon.

So what band wagon are you on, put a carbon tax on everything from cars to cows or restore some conservative common sense to the government?

need to remeber Electricity is our major fuel consumer, the alternate source of generation are being eliminated by differnet enviromental groups. The Hyrdo Electric Dams were damned by Clinton. During the big elect debacle in Calif they had to get elect from us in Oregon and it came from Boneville. Which was all but closed

Im curious about the Hydro shut down era if the fish were as much a reality as something else. The closings of dams was in the same time frames Clinton and Enron were trying to be the World Power brokers. Another scandle comes to the surface --remeber Brown being shot in the head while the plane was crashing? He was going to a meeting about the Power Broker item for Clinton and Enron at the time

Hmmm. I had not heard about where Ron Brown was headed that trip, but was he not in South American airspace at the time? I could be wrong about that, but then I found out the story about a bullet-hole type of skull forensic from the crash has never been proven beyond a doubt. So I'm just trying to make certain that I don't fall in for Urban Legends while we dope that interesting story about the WindFarm power brokers out...

ABSOLUTELY Christine! We need to drill here and refine now, in order to give us the developmental time to reach an alternative energy platform. It will also ensure national security against all sorts of economic and extra-governmental pressures worldwide.

Bosnia, he had just did a holiday in France with Calif Gov Gray Davis and wife and the CEO of Enron and thenthey were all supposed to take the power broker deal into Bosnia for presentaion. The Davis' and the Enron guy sent an alternate and the plane they were crashed a few miles from the landing strip

Before Brown was the Energy Sec he was a major fund raiser for Clintons 2nd run and the 1st of the 4 fundraisers to die

Yeah, I knew his position well, just was unaware of the flight plans for that trip. Very interesting indeed.

there is a new Harley design out now. Will post a photo. It is the biggest engine Harley makes, about the size of a small sedan motor, and it is 2 cylinder-V Twin- fuel injected and gets over 50 miles to a gallon. It weighs a little less than a small car also.
Now one of the inovations of this new power house is when you stop at a light or what ever, the rear cynlinder turns off. No fuel or spark goes to it so the bike runs on 1 cylinder. When you twist the throttle it comes on instantly and you are off like a rocket. There is no battery for idle time or anything, pure American inovation.

From what I understand it was originally designed this way because the back cylinder always burns our leg when we have our feet on the ground, by turning it off we were meant to lose the burns and scars. Well it worked out cool for fuel also

This Harley is called the V-Rod and I have ridden one and have a couple guys I ride with that have one. They are about $23,000 bikes but thats because they are sweet, They can build commuter cars this way.

Someday, I might actually learn to ride one of those things correctly, on an evacuated desert where I can't kill anyone but the tumbleweeds!
