I wrote this in response to a blog which was created on behalf of Mike Duncan...
"Why should we re-elect someone who was part of the problem in this past years election cycle? I watched the opening video on his home page, and I couldn't believe what came out of his mouth.
He stated "The pundits were Predicting gloom an doom for the republican party, they said our base wouldn’t be motivated, they said the republican brand has lost its luster, well I’m here to report THEY WERE VERY WRONG!"
Huh? Is Mike suggesting that we did great this past election cycle? Is mike suggesting our base was motivated and excited to elect John Mccain? Is he suggesting that our Republican brand isn't tarnished? Is it just me, or is this man in denial of the facts that we got crushed this election cycle, that the Conservative base was anything but excited about the Mccain campaign, and that, indeed, our Republican brand has been tarnished (especially with the youth of America)?
I think we need to go in another direction with a new Chairman, and the youth vote overwhelmingly support Mr. Steele for the position as shown by the recent poll which K. Ryan James posted in one of his his previous blog entries."
