THE FASTEST ARRIVING ALTERNATIVE ENERGY PLATFORM IS ALREADY DECIDED !!

Algae-based BioFuels will be the massive market alternative in 3-6 years. They burn cleaner than any crude-oil based products from transportation at about a 25-35% carbon emissions reduction, with no loss in range (miles per tank) or power (engine performance). Their refinement (refinery work) is 100% pollution free, the distribution and sales thereof requires NO (zero!) changes to our current infrastructure. There are 10 independents all evolving the same fuels and production/delivery schedules now for full commercialization. Out of these 10 independents, it is expected they can all deliver 2-3% of the nations entire current crude demands in terms of the billions of gallons of crude-based fuels that are now being utilized by Americans.

When you total that up, the 10 independent companies can remove up to 30% of the entire crude oil demand off of America's plates. Now consider this fact; 4 of the USA's traditional "Big Oil" producers, are also gearing up for huge production levels of algae-based biofuels. Chevron, BP, Shell and Exxon all have large algae farms in production now, and are catching up to the better researched independents in the fastest industrial revolutionizing steps this energy demand can produce.

It is very possible, that somewhere around 50% of the entire crude oil demand will be wiped from our plates. Can we get business to do this better under GOP handling and leadership, or will we allow DNC anti-business bog-downs to slow our progress, when they see Big Oil once again controlling an industry they've been trying to take over for years?

Below is the post from one of the leading independents now producing commerical test volumes of the new bio-diesels and gasolines. Also keep in mind, if Detroit is smart enough, they could be developing an entire new line of modulated diesel cars, full size, that could be getting 30 city and 40 hwy of the cars WE WANT TO BUY. Who will stand up and help make this happen?

One of my favorite energy technology areas, finally releases a firm projection to the military and federal energy associates, as to where this is all going. Keep in mind this is only one company, very well funded, who can eliminate 3% of all needs on foriegn Oil in a few years. There are at least 10 companies doing this very same research and production estimates, giving us 1/3 to 40% of all of the foriegn oil crude demands removed in 3-10 years, no matter what.

The possibilities of quantum leaps in times to the desired production rates are extremely possible too, as this report you are about to read is inclusive of expected bureaucratic delays and political stone-walling. Also keep in mind, these are 10 companies who are independent, we also have our own major Oil companies close to bringing out additional huge production levels of these same bio-diesels and bio-gasolines.

Anyway, here is the press release:

ALGAE-BASED FUEL PROJECTED TO BE COMMERCIAL-READY IN THREE YEARS
April 16, 2009

Sapphire Energy Reveals Timeline for Drop-In Replacement Fuel

ALEXANDRIA, VA, April 16, 2009 – Sapphire Energy, a nationally recognized and leading-edge company developing renewable and scalable alternative fuels, today is revealing an updated timeline for deployment of its green “drop-in” replacement transportations fuels. Sapphire executives are sharing the plans at the Military Energy and Fuels Conference in Virginia.

Sapphire Energy has developed a revolutionary, patented platform of sunlight, CO2, photosynthetic microorganisms (algae), non-potable water and non-arable land to produce a renewable and scalable low-carbon alternative to petrochemical-based processes and products. By 2011, Sapphire Energy will be producing 1 million gallons of diesel and jet fuel per year, double its initial estimates. By 2018, the number, increases to more than 100 million gallons annually; and by 2025, the company will be producing up to 1 billion gallons of fuel per year. This means Sapphire alone will be supplying enough fuel to meet approximately 3 percent of the country’s 36 billion gallon renewable fuel standard.

In line with priorities and urgency echoed by President Obama in signing the Stimulus Plan, Sapphire is set to be the first to bring a true, green “drop-in” replacement fuel to bear for air and land transportation, meaning there is no need to alter the current petroleum infrastructure.

“Fuel from algae is not just a laboratory experiment or something to speculate on for years to come. We’ve worked tirelessly, and the technology is ready now,” says Brian Goodall, PhD, Vice President Downstream Technology, Sapphire Energy. “We’ve already successfully tested our fuel with two commercial airlines and within the next three years we’ll be producing enough to help meet the growing demands of industry and the military. Fuel from algae is an extremely logical approach to meet the needs for a green solution to our dependence on fossil fuels.”

San Diego-based Sapphire Energy is pioneering an entirely new industry – Green Crude Production – with the potential to profoundly change America’s energy and petrochemical landscape for the better. Sapphire’s products and processes in this category differ significantly from other forms of biofuel because they are made solely from photosynthetic microorganisms, using sunlight and CO2 as their feedstock; are not dependent on food crops or valuable farmland; do not use potable water; do not result in biodiesel or ethanol; enhance and replace petroleum-based products; and are low carbon, renewable and scalable. Finally, Green Crude can be refined into the three most important liquid fuels used by our society: gasoline, diesel and jet fuel. The fuels meet ASTM standards and are compatible with the existing petroleum infrastructure, from refinement through distribution and the retail supply chain.

Sapphire’s Green Crude already has been used successfully in several test flights with the commercial airlines Continental and JAL. For more information about Sapphire Energy, visit the company’s websites at www.sapphireenergy.com and www.greencrudeproduction.com.

Did anyone else watch 60mins artical on coal plants? It seems they, the coal plants, may start producing CO2 stripped from the exaust gasses.produced from burning coal.
One companies waste becoming another's feedstock. And ol t boone wanting to retrofit the nation for NG, how silly.

Although I do see the home fill station as viable.

Yes Lisa! I actually just did a small Etrade investment in one of the two companies actually operating this process. Problem is, a lot of infrastructure needs to catch up with that idea, so it may not be readily feasible.

T. Boone blew it trying to force his NG cars and sun/wind farms on everybody without a cohesive strategy. What was his biggest complaint on his own website, "He would not do it all now....?"

I
dont see anything wrong with constantly finding new sources of energy -but capping wells and limiting our known sources forcing us to pay crazy prices to cousin Abdulla is insanity-Treasonous. Sarah got all the progress on deals to supply the Nation with hundreds of years of energy with current fuel and the Administration refuses to listen to her

Do not expect to see this new energy form on the market. Dependence upon Saudi Arabia is increasing under this administration than any other. No other administration was so adamant to keep us slaves to the middle eastern oil.

Amen Jim. This is why i like the biodiesels, no true capping ever needed, same infrastructure zooms us back to the top of the energy management scale and the DEMS have no financial foothold in saying what comes next.

Mikey, Mikey, Mikey, Obama has already stuck his foot in it, he signed off on, already, two HUGE Biodiesel partnerships and promises. He cannot back out. He signed a domestic plan with four independents, including Saaphire Energy, he even called Continental Airlines to pledge his full support after their successful Algae-Jet Fuel test flight in late January (video on the web) and he signed a joint partnership with Brazil to create, expand and commercialize new biodiesel fuels.

Petrosun and Origin Oil, as well as Boeing all monopolize Brazilian biodiesel market with Algae farms and bioreactors.

It is coming, Obama is not even that stupid. He knows if he can get us off Arabian Oil, he may save his chance for re-election. He only needs to shave 5-10% dependency off the books to do it too.

This is coming fast, and 3-6 years is pretty fast.

But of course also building safe and clean nuclear power is off the table because god forbid we have to store the waste somwhere. Now even some enviornementalists are balking at having windmills put up and solar power sites in the dester as well. These people want us to what, run on water.

Reply to This

Yes, but recent improvements in Cold Fusion research, oh yes, that old stuff, is now proving viable (although the latest success stories prove its 'another type' of manageable nuclear reaction that leaves no waste material behind, not necessarily "Cold Fusion" per se'.)

Did you see the 60 minutes article on this two weeks back? Leading companies doing this are SRI International and Energetic Technologies in Israel.

Nuclear may not be needed in 10 more years.

Reply to This

Doesn't matter. Either way right now we need nuclear power. If we develop cold fusion along the way so much the better. But we need nuclear power right now. Start building plants now and in 5 years they could be ready to go.

Reply to This

Yes, I'd hold no grudge to more nuclear right now. Can we ship the waste to Tehran or Lagos?

Reply to This

I'm all for it. Eliminate the problem at the source. lol
