Let me say up front that I support the rapidly growing conservative social networks popping up everywhere and I've joined several of them. I have a practical question, however.
I'm planning to run for Maryland Senate in 2010 as a Republican against a sitting Democratic incumbent in my district and he's got money to burn and enough power and influence to frighten away potential donors or buy votes with pork from the state treasury. From a candidate's perspective, how are these social networking tools going to help me run a viable race? Unless they bring me money and volunteers, they're not an effective use of time for a candidate.
I welcome your comments!
Regards,
Ron
