One may read the entire story here. This is something our side needs to move on quickly - with the popularity of youtube & embedding of videos, this is a potential goldmine of driving traffic to websites with either the right or wrong message.

What kind of impact do you think this can have if we use it?

it could be, i am personally waiting until they have it fully implemented and i have time to dig into it some more before i make up my mind about it. although the one turn off to me is that it sounds like it is coupled with google adsense for video which makes me think you have to pay to embed them in your own video. which personally i think if the video is yours you should be able to do that for free. although still i would want to see what the pricing system is like.
