Will or Bill,

It sound like socialism is the bogyman of your nightmares.  I suggest you tackle it head on with education.  Go to the library and find out what it is then you won’t be so afraid.

Eric,

I too enjoy a good Star Trek episode, especially if it has Seven of Nine in it. I notice Joe is very touchy every time we criticize RINO's do you suppose we hit a nerve there?

As I said, I am the first to admit I need to learn more about that technology that can be such a force multiplier. Now that I am here, what do I do to learn more about how to use technology to build the movement? I am here to work with like minded folks.

A. Nothing like nepotism for career advancement?
B. I have been known to enjoy a episode of star trek among other things.
C. What did i do to be labeled a coward?
D. Actually we agree that the GOP needs organizers, and workers, i believe talkers were the ones i was frustrated with. I'm trying to use tech to empower the organizers and workers, to use it as a force multiplier, where one organizer can do the work of 2 or even 10.
E.I am sure those ten IT Guys are glad they work for your brother and not you.
F.I don't care if you had a rough childhood, its immaterial to the conversation.

this guy reminds me of you perhaps you should setup a blog like this Link

I own the Corporation along with my brothers. You 2 guys are "Nerds". I was working so hard, and you made me yawn. Anyone can shake hands with the Governor, and I think your a liar, as I am a friend of the Governor, but don't need to have a picture shaking hands. Do us all a favor and trekie on over to the TV. i bet Science Fiction theatre is on for you. I also have a brother who runs ten IT guys. NOW, SINCE ALL OF US (came up the hard way - not you) go bore some Democrats, quit calling Republican names (Rino's - your personal opinions) The Republican Party needs organizers, workers, not talkers. Beyond that your both cowards. Like I said I was raised in a very rough area. My brothers and I worked in the mills, so any one of us would be happy to adjust your thinking back towards the Democrats, and stop whining about RINO's. Anytime, anyplace.

Joseph,

Sales & marketing in your "large corporation" clearly does not require any diplomacy or people skills whatsoever or they would not have hired you.

I do not share information with Senator Lindsey Graham because I have no respect whatsoever for him personally or intellectually.

I do talk to Governor Sanford from time to time (that's him shaking my hand in the photo) and if I have information for the Governor, I give it to him privately rather than spread it all over the internet or send messages by third parties.

The solution to the banking problem definitely is not nationalization, it is to allow the free enterprise system to work. If a bank is mismanaged, it should go out of business, not have its management (who caused the mess) bailed out with a fresh infusion you your and my tax dollars.

While Mr. Obama is rapidly making banking and other problems worse by taking the wrong action; these problems are not entirely to be blamed on him. The genesis of the current economic crisis is in the Carter administration wanting to make uncreditworthy folks, mostly minorities, into homeowners for political bragging rights (and to buy votes.)

These stupid lending policies were revived by the Clintonistas and also embraced by RINO George W. Bush. There were plenty of greedy Republican leaning businessmen in banking, real estate, and the stock market who each bought into the madness because they made huge short term financial gains by artificially inflating the housing "values" which in turn drove up the stock market and created numerous new classes of US government backed "securities" derived from bogus mortgages.

This bubble has to bust. Mismanaged firms have to pay for their sins/crimes/stupidity/complicity. The culpable folks need to lose their jobs in droves and in some cases go to jail.

maybe our definitions of ranting and raving are different, but what you just did was a rant in my book.

although reading your previous post again i notice you said

"Maybe you techies can use your communication tools to get the word out, rather than crying the blues abour what someone is posting on your blog."

that right there shows you can not even grasp the role and scope of technology in modern political campaigns. so why don't you just run along now and let people that know what they are doing with technology get some work done.

oh and might i suggest some reading material for the road.

I hear it has a lot of nice colorful pictures.

Haven't ranted, haven't raved, I answered other ravings. What I did was put a Republican in the House of Rep., in a district that never had other than Democrats. (campaign manager.) Have you been one of those Eric?I'm also VP Sales and Marketing of a large Corporation (takes a little time) What do you do Eric, I mean besides "Shooting off a big mouth" Now fade away Dude, we have to many guys that talk a lot. I'm working on Democrats, which I thought was the idea until you opened your pie hole. Your wasting my time, I have a feeling you do that a lot. What is it you do Eric?
Eric Cumbee Comment by Eric Cumbee on February 24, 2009 at 10:10pm
Well Joesph maybe its because we are actually working on real things rather than ranting and raving.
