Hey Debbie! I think it's awesome that you ran, regardless of the results! I find it fascinating (in a "watching a car-wreck" way) that women react that way. It's stunning that they'd think we betray some "sisterhood" if we believe more in individuals than institutions, if we support being strong & independent rather than creating dependence, if we want governance by effectiveness rather than governance by anecdote. I'll think for myself, thank you. They drive me crazy.

Hello Ladies! I'm in a traditionally red state that went blue this election, so I feel compelled to get the conservative word out around here. I look forward to catching up on the discussions and participating!

Yes Debbie..it sure is. One thing i notice about conservatives...we don't protest. We don't speak out. That's a real problem and we have to start doing so because the squeeky wheel gets the grease.

I ran for office this year (unsuccessfully). I was suprised at how many women would not vote for me because I had and R behing my name. I actually was verbally attacked by some women who seem to think I betrayed my gender by being a Republican. The media feeds into this.
I think it is time for conservative women to start speaking out.

Hi, I’m Katie, I’m new to Rebuild the Party, but I am so excited about Sarah Palin, and really just ready to help further the conservative agenda! I have been really active in Team Sarah, and just found this site! I’m looking for ways to get involved. Every day I mark it down on my Sarah Palin Calendar, so that at the end of the year I know I did everything I could possibly do. I just think having a calendar with a cause reminds you ever day to do something proactive!

I use sites like facebook and myspace to reach out to people about conservatism and Christianity.

I simply start with my friends and family. I think that we should not forget that some of our family members are just misinformed or not informed.

this is a great idea for a group.

I like the idea of perhaps forming groups locally who would educate/reach out to other women. Maybe some of you business owners would consider doing the job thing. As a musician, you can't imagine how tough it is for a woman musician/solo artist to get a gig....even when women are doing the hiring!
