There are plenty of conservative/Republican t-shirts out there to choose from. Frankly, MOST of them are cheesy. Not very clever and artistically they are a mess.

I'm thinking of a clean, simple, post-modern design for a Republican t-shirt.

What do you have in mind?

Depends on your target audience.

If the RNC were smart, they would ditch the elephant [for starters] for something more contemporary and in keeping with the soul of their brand.

The RNC can't ditch the elephant, the right can't appear to lose faith in anything. ACORN has had to change it's symbol, the RNC can't because it's done nothing wrong. Individuals in the RNC may need to change their image at times. I would do something with the elephant, but not replace. They could just make it a part of their philosophy, give it a good image (like the "eliphants" in Lord of the Rings"), soup it up a bit. Very interesting thought though.

I've never seen a republican party tee-shirt. Maybe people are afraid to wear them. The RNC needs to take a page from the Obama campaign, but admit to what they are doing. What I'm thinking is that Obama seems to speak like a conservative (to me he acts like a used-car dealer in a confessional). The military ad campaigns have a good concept. Start out with imaginative fantasy, and show a twist at the end with real world military counterparts, i.e.; a fantasy knight in armor battling a beast, then "morphs" into a marine in full color guard regalia.

Is anyone working on this out there (RNC?). I have years of graphic design experience, and would love to help.
