How about starting at pork. How about who ever runs, sets up a site to give a simple yeah or nay on issues. Get feedback. The most important thing that we can do is try to keep them all honest. I chuckle at that with Nixon. Another shallow suit with no morals. Sorry, I remember the debates, and I still can't figure out how he won. I still need some feedback or history on Sarah I am really getting tired of backing the better of 2 evils. Todd Akin sent a e-mail asking how the cap and trade and the $3128.00 would affect you. I am not in his district, but he was the closest rep I had to relate to. I've got Claire and Russ. I am waiting to see how it affects our business.
Welcome Sharon, and Couch, let us know you are OK.

I want solid conseratives for Missouri, Pople who stand by our founding principles of faith, family and small goverment! If the only thing we can do is come up with "Democrat lite" it won't work. That is why we lost big time.
I would like Sarah Steelman to get back in. She almost won.
I'm attending the St. Louis Tea Party on the 15th and I will contribute all I can to l turn our country away from the socialistic direction that we are now headed.
As conservatives we better wake up!

I am truly confused. Anyone have an in on Sarah Steelman? I don't have a good history on her, just that what I have seen and her work. Personality, seems to be key. Is she as she seems, or is it all hype?
It all seems shallow, I can't trust any of these people. Bios' are all good, but I want some real feedback.

Tea party at the St. Louis Arch Friday, 11:00 AM. Hope there is a good turnout.
The Carnahan family makes my blood boil. God rest his soul, but after voting in a dead man. What else is there to say. Talent would have been a good run, if he had some real help. Whoever ran his campaign did a lousy job. I still like him.

I thought he was a very good Gov. He did a lot to make the government smaller. He got an A+ from me. Some of the talking heads on TV and Radio have make the comments, without any elaboration. I found it refreshing that he opened healthcare clinics, and tried to get welfare benefits reigned in. He lived with-in the budget and That alone got my respect. He did not act like the King of the Castle. Of which, Nixon will be on C-Span tomorrow morning. It is painful to listen to him, but I will try. What ever happened to public speaking 101?

We really need to get away from the family names. I am still trying to figure how Matt was such a bad gov.
We need State leaders with more vision. Past all the Unions, Past all the Old Boys' Clubs, and look to Keeping the State safe and working. We need to make Missouri a state you fly to, not over. We are a Jewel, and past leaders have put us in a real bind. All of the eminate domain, tiff, and kissing has caught up. We need Leaders who will cut taxes to business and make it a win win all around. The St. Louis area and the Unions, seem to want to live in the 1950s'. The mood and the times have changed. The old concessions don't work. We need to throw some cold water on a few of the leaders of the state and wake them up. They Work For Us! Just like Social Security, The Labor force retirement funds, are all gone. Our children and grandchildren will make less. Our own greed has caused some of this. We need state and federal leaders to adjust to the facts, that they need to live within Our Needs.

There has to be someone better than Blunt. Sorry, he is the same old, same old. The only thing he may have going for him is his strong stomach having been in DC.

Couch asked me to help with a Mission Statement for the Missouri RtP group. So, with the help of Jeff Duke, we came up with the following:

"To communicate a relevant message to Missouri voters, both urban and rural, which solidifies the Republican base, wins the swing vote, and finds the common ground with our traditional rivals."

Hope you like it....comments / concerns / suggestions are welcome!

It's good to see all these people in the MO Rebuild group. Shortly after Christmas I want to start talking strategy with you guys and coordinating some action across the state. If you have any ideas already, feel free to go ahead and share them.

I'd like us to focus on spending the next week or two encouraging people we know here in MO to join the network and this group. That way when we start coordinating activity early next year, we've already built up a solid network of people ready to contribute. So let's all try to get a few more people in here before Christmas and then be ready to get to work!
In the meantime feel free to message me with any questions or suggestions. I look forward to working with you guys!
