Erika-It might have to do with Mitt being active at the National Council for a New America, or his PAC Free Strong America!

FYI- http://blog.heritage.org/2009/06/01/text-of-romneys-speech-the-care-of-freedom/

Enjoy!

This does not appear to be a very active group, am I missing something?

Right now it looks like we need to have Mitt as President to clean up this fiscal mess. Many of the third party fringe wannabe so called conservatives will protest but they are not better than Obama. What we need is a business man who understands how things work, how to make money and how to be profitable. The OBM stated that this years budget under Obama will hold a $1.8Trillion additoin to the debt and the next bedget will hold at least $1.4 Trillion in new debt. That is in addition to the $1.2 Trillion in new debt they already passed with the two stimulus bills. ($4.4 Trillion in new debt in 2 years whereas Bush did $5 Trillion in 8 years).

LOL! :-D

Marlene, you are failing miserably to understand what I am saying, and what this site is about.

Yes, I use myself as an example. But as you just said, I am only one of Millions of Conservative Americans who this Melt-Down has left high and DRY!

As O'Bomba-Nation, Peloser, and Reid dig into our pockets to waste money on their pet projects, they are taking around $6,700 per Family in the US to do it. While offering us back $500 of our own for the favor! :-(

THAT, along with the complacency so many seem to have over the Invasarios, and their burdens they are dumping on us;

IS NOT ACCEPTABLE TO ME! It has me, Ahem:

POLITICALLY ACTIVE!

The points I am making are not just high hopes. They are what I view as a better alternative to help Stimulate the Economy than the Dimocrats and Bushie's moronic stunts!

Interest rates? Guess what? When the rates were closer to 9% for "Good" Creditors, people with not so perfect Credit could still get loans! Greentree, and others existed! No mas!

To have Banks unable to make any money lending, while Credit Card rip-offs make obscene profits, and "Factoring" lenders steal net profits off returns is as bad as the Fees, Penalties and Usury charges Banks abuse religiously!

You also failed to realize why I was suggesting getting the Money to People struggling. The TARP funds O'bomba gets to waste now, are for Mortgages that have already been foreclosed! Once those sleazebag Bankers get recharged, they are going to foreclose even more, and want even more Bail-outs! Same for Car Lenders, and others who can grab securities.

Mo bettah we get money to people to pay delinquencies than keep buying "Bad Loans"!

Again, and this time read what I am writing carefully: The Dimocrat Socialist plan is to waste $880 Billion on extended Welfare costing every Household @ $6,700!

That money, and more, is "Earmarked" to be spent! What I am trying to gather support for;

Is a smarter way to spend it! ;~)

Listening to the Messiah in the Empty Suit talk about Creating, OR SAVING!, 3-4 Million Jobs, when there are @10 Million Jobs stolen out from the system by people illegally here;

Makes me Gag!

Finally, please realize what I mean when I say Competing against us in a way we can't!

$10/ Hr. for a Construction type job done by someone working under the Table, is $10/hr to both the Worker, and the Employer!

$10/Hr. for a legal Worker takes home @$7.50, while costing the Employer Social Security, Insurance, FICA, Payrolling, Un-Employment, and more!

Without any fear of being fined for hiring under the Table, I can quickly see where an Employer would prefer to do just that!

Now, add in Bill Clinton's idiotic Executive Order requiring Bi-Lingual, and you have reverse discrimination keeping Gringos out of the Hispanic Contractor's business! Hispanics promote Illegals! Gringos outside the Loop can't report what they don't know!

Then, as in Mitt Romney's Landscaper Mr. Saenz; Not even a Governor has the right to enforce FEDERAL Laws regarding Worker Eligibility! Mitt had no authority to question Mr. Saenz's Employees about their Eligibility!

Sorry, But I do believe there are enough of us to force our traitorous Representatives to take action! I refuse to believe we are forced to capitulate to the Invasarios!

McAmnesty lost because he lost so many of us!
Sean Casey-AKA SAINT-The Comment by Sean Casey-AKA SAINT-The on January 25, 2009 at 3:22pm
First-Marlene-Come down off yourself! My Father had a similar story. The years were 50's into the 80's.
Things changed after that! Both at Banks, and in an invasion of wage destroying invaders who took many of those same base level jobs under the tax Table and away from Legal workers in a way we cannot compete with!
It is one of Mitt Romney's stances I like-The ENFORCING of our existing Labor Laws!
Then, you are right, I cannot qualify for a bank Loan! Many like me cannot either. It is for exactly that reason the banks should NOT be given the Money-THEY, will never get it to people who the $4 Gas robbed and left broke!
By going through the IRS, the IRS will get its money back-even after the person dies if it comes to it!
What I am talking about is STIMULUS. When MILLIONS of working class people are dead in the water, Pie in the Sky Projects years down the road, and breaks for the ones who are actually doing good enough to owe taxes;

Ain't enough!

I am after no Freebie! I need $$$$ to get moving again to make money. By getting Millions like me back into action, the Invasarios and their Welfare/SCHIPs sucking dual National Children GONE, and Banks back in line with realistic Usury Fees, and profitable Interest Rates(Which makes them WANT to loan again!);

This Country will snap out of the catharsis that has struck it!

Then-Mr. Brennan:

I am not saying get rid of the Evangelicals. What I am saying, is just like we look at Iraq, and see Shi-ites pulling Sectarian based Garbage in what should be a democratic process trying to choose a best leader;

Evangelicals need to join me in telling Clods like Huckleberry attacking Mitt Romney over his Mormon Faith-That if he keeps carrying that cross, we'll nail him to it!

Issues! Not Religion!
Michael Brennan Comment by Michael Brennan on January 24, 2009 at 11:28pm
Why do people keep calling for the end of the evangelical majority base of the conservative GOP? If the GOP dumps its evangelical base, it has nothing to offer. There will not be enough others to win much of anything and they would be less than 40 seats in the US house and 19 seats in the US Senate. No we do NOT need to throw the "evangelicals" out, we need them to increase.

Marlene-Allow me to edify you with my own tale as an example.

I was/am a swimming Pool Professional. I was the canary in the coal mine. When People got caught up in flipping Sub-Prime Mortgaged houses, they stooped doing pools!

As a Sole-Proprietor, when I could not get a deal, financing for my clients, and gas went to $4, I was caught! Several months struggling got me to the point I was broke!
Recently, I was working on the Levees on the Border, but when that dried up, the world melted down at the same time.
I was destroyed by the idiocy. Not by my own efforts! Too much of my precious money was taken by excessive usury fees and penalties before I finally defaulted!

I am someone who NEEDS help!

Mitt has been the one all along.

A lot were misdirected by loyalty and felt a debt of gratitude to a formmer POW. Unfortunately, POW experience does not qualify anyone for all the challenges of the job. That was a bad experience and it is behind us.

A few got hung up on the Mormon label and didn't even look at the man or the track record. He has a lot of experience which this country sorely needs right now. He also has character, integrity, and ethics which would be most welcome in light of what we got instead.

The huckster is a great talkshow moderator. That doesn't make him qualified to run the country. He is just great in his current slot. He should stay there.

The people who think that we will have a socialist medical system whereby all treatment will be free and forthcoming paid by everybody but them are sadly mistaken. It isn't possible. I am not knowledgeable on Romney's MA plan, but from what I've heard him say, his plan is reasonable and workable. It won't be a freebie, but there won't be a freebie from anybody. We cannot expect the Chinese to keep lending us money to pay for medical care for the unable and unwilling.

Medicare/medicaid is in trouble and it DOESN'T cover everything. Medigap or other insurance coverage is needed in addition or the patient pays some out of pocket. A little skin in the game helps to control misuse and overuse.

Mitt would have been a much better choice than what we got.

We need him to keep making suggestions and popping his head in so people get to know him better. 90% of the country really didn't know him.
