Support HB524!!

HB524 Establishing a State Milita and Dan Itse is one of the sponsors of this too. The public hearing is March 5 at 10:00 AM Lobby 203.

HB524 http://www.gencourt.state.nh.us/ This bill has got balls! - wow! This is about defending our state, but it may also help with natural disaster relief - (rather have NH residents helping NH resident then the President sending in the feds - remember what happened with Katrina). Remember, the National Guard is ultimately under control of President, the state governor has limited control for his / her's state National Guard.

Good morning! Tonight is our NH Young Republican E-board meeting at 6:30pm at Murphy's
Taproom on Elm Street in Manchester. All NH Young Republicans are invited.

We have a lot of things to talk about including upcoming special election
volunteer opportunities, the YR National Convention in July and other
events/activities we would like to work on in the coming months.

We also have a special guest tonight. Rachel Hoff is running for Chairman of
the Young Republican National Federation. She will be here to introduce
herself to the group and talk about her candidacy. I have included some more
information about her below. The election for Chairman and other national
officers will be at the Convention in July. We will discuss more about how
many voting members we can send and how you can become a voting member.

Hope to see you there tonight and please do not hesitate to contact me with
questions.

thanks so much!

Rachel Hoff
Proven. Effective. Leadership.
Taking the YRNF to the Next Level.

It is a new day in the Republican Party.

The election of new RNC leadership signaled the commitment of the Republican
Party to define new goals, innovate strategies, and communicate a compelling
new conservative message to more people than ever before.

Our generation must lead our Party in creating new ideas and driving new
technologies while we reaffirm our commitment to conservative principles of
individual freedom, limited government, free enterprise, and personal
responsibility. We must help our Party develop 21st Century solutions to the
challenges we face. The Young Republicans must increase our influence,
engagement, and relevance to our Party and our generation.

To lead the Young Republicans to these new heights, I am proud to announce
the first candidates on a ticket with the professionalism, competence, and
experience to take the YRNF to the Next Level. It is with gratitude and a
desire to greater serve this organization that I announce my candidacy for
Chairman of the Young Republican National Federation.

The YRNF has made great strides toward establishing itself as both a
recognized political force and the authoritative voice of the young
conservative perspective in the media. But we have a long way to go to
achieve our potential. The YRNF must continue to build upon our success with
a renewed focus on building stronger state and local chapters, supporting
young candidates with volunteers, engaging new members of our generation
through cutting-edge technology, and raising the money needed to compete
against the well-funded Democrat campaign machine.

I have had the pleasure to work with hundreds of Young Republicans
throughout the country. We are united in the desire to move our Party
forward, re-affirm our commitment to conservative principles, and win
elections for Republicans. But with two candidates for National Chairman, it
is important that YRs in each state have the opportunity to get to know us
both and to evaluate our experience, our vision, and our leadership teams. I
hope that my opponent will join me in a debate of ideas about the future of
the YRNF, and I look forward to an honest and open discussion that will give
YRs time to make an informed decision about whom to support.

Over the next few weeks, we will be announcing the other members of our
leadership team and rolling out detailed strategic plans for implementing
our action items. Our goal is to engage you in a conversation about how to
make our organization better, so please feel free to reach out to me
directly (rachel.hoff@gmail.com, 605.261.5341) or visit "Taking the YRNF to
the Next Level" on Facebook to learn more and contribute your ideas.

Let's join together and take the YRNF to the Next Level.

Sincerely,
Rachel Hoff

The Federal government has gone far enough. We need to draw a line in the sand. If there is further egregious, serious disrespect of the US Constitution by the Federal government, then New Hampshire must reclaim its sovereignty.

HCR6 came out of committee with a surprise "Inexpedient to Legislate" recommendation.

For those that remember it, this is a replay of the resistance against the bills to get NH out of Real-ID. This is unacceptable. Fortunately, we have a playbook. We know what it takes to move this forward: MASSIVE PUBLIC SUPPORT!

Your patriotism,  honor and support are greatly appreciated.

Patriots,

It appears America's freedom loving masses are beginning the march back to Republic principles, stripping the greedy, self-serving politicians of the Federal government of their pork barrel.

While the incestuous political apparatus of the national system has been concentrating on filling their trough to overflowing with "stimulus" funds for their benefactors for decades, America has finally concluded the "out of control" federal government must be challenged, and stripped of constitutional excesses.

Several US States have now claimed sovereignty under the United States Constitution 10th Amendment...New Hampshire, Missouri, Washington, and Arizona are in various stages of declaring their sovereignty from usurpation levied by the federal government in violation of the US Constitution.

More to come on this but essentially several States have/are giving notice they will no longer accept federal levies, statutes, demands, etc. from the Federal Government that infringe on States Rights, as enumerated in the US Constitution.

Read the Arizona State resolution by clicking here ; the New Hampshire State resolution by clicking here ; about the Missouri State effort by clicking here ; the Washington State effort by clicking here and now Oklahoma by clicking here and now Montana is piling on click here, and Michigan click here.

Additional information regarding grievance petition submission....click here to watch a video

Patriots from all States have been sounding a serious alarm for at least a decade over the US Federal Government exceeding it's Constitutional authority that has been occurring for decades...it has finally reached a point where America has been driven to servitude by a greedy, ruthless oligarchy controlled by the few....citizens have been searching for the "national movement" that will rein-in the Federal Government...Thank God it is surfacing in our US State legislatures.

Now, that many courageous States Rights legislators are standing up for Republic principles, it's up to us........it's up to the citizens that have been denied rightful representation to rise up in support of our State legislators who are "standing in the gap" for citizens who have had no voice for too long.....

Here's an example of the media coverage we need....click here

The next step is up to us.......to demand my State, your State to take the same action.......will you do it? Contact your State Representative and demand a similar resolution to NH, MO, WA, and AZ be introduced in your legislature....do it today.

Harry Riley, COL, USA, Ret

e-mail from my state rep. Bob Mead and everyone should heed his advice:

As you have expressed concern with the government intrusion into your life and threats to our "Live Free or Die" heritage, I thought you might be interested in legislation that is now before the legislature. I have supported and have testified in favor of this is legislation known as House Concurrent Resolution (HCR 6) affirming our States’ rights. The intent is to send a clear message to Washington D.C. that as a signer of the Constitution of the United States the Sovereign State of New Hampshire has granted only specific limited rights over our governance to the Federal Government, and has retained all other as States' Rights for New Hampshire citizens.

A great many citizens took time off from their work and came to the public hearing in Concord last week in order to testify in favor of this legislation. As a matter of record there was no opposing testimony to this resolution. Despite overwhelming support and testimony of our citizens, and all Republican committee members voting in favor of the resolution, the Democratic majority on the committee sought to silent our voices by voting it "inexpedient to legislate".

We have one more opportunity to pass it when it comes before the full legislature in the next few weeks, and with your support we might be able to do so . If you are interested in supporting this effort to assert our States Rights, you should watch the interview of Dan Itse, the sponsor of the bill, at 5:00 PM today, Friday February 13th, on Fox News (the Bill O'Reilly channel). If you feel this resolution is something you believe should be passed, then contact the Speaker of the House, Terie Norelli, terie.norelli@leg.state.nh.us or (603) 271-3661 and ask her to support HCR6 when it comes to the full legislature for a vote .

Regards

Bob Mead

We are awful quiet out there. Is it just the Holidays?
I have a couple of new posts on The Blogging Councilor that covers the proposed stimulus package and the interview on The American Resolve with Michael Steele and Mike Duncan, who are running for RNC Chair.
Check them out and provide some feedback.

Hello Everyone,
I am Greg Knytych (pronounced Knight-tek) and I am a City Councilor in Laconia.
I am excited about this opportunity to rebuild the party and I think Gov. Sununu will serve us well. I had the chance to get to know him and his son, Sen. Sununu while I was running for the State Senate. Unfortunately I could not overcome the blue tidal wave that swept the nation.
Hopefully we can change the image that the party has been branded with, "Democrat Light" because of all the spending.
We have no choice but to highlight the differences and make a strong return to our conservative roots.
