I went to the Tea party event at the State Capitol in Raleigh. It was excellent in every way. Bill Lumay and Dr. Mike Munger were outstanding!

For anyone interested, check out my discussion on the do tank group. U.S. Rep. Walter B. Jones Jr. (R) 3rd. He is co-sponsoring a resolution to stop spending billions of borrowed tax payer dollars. He will need others to get on board.

I'm in Charlotte! Would love to get together. At the moment, my kids are keeping me hopping, but my time should free up after 3/7. I also have a blog www.jillmarquis.wordpress.com feel free to check it out.

I'm in Charlotte myself. Perhaps we should try to get everyone together statewide. I am always looking for a social! What's convenient? JD

I posted a video some of put together by some of us on a group active in monitoring politics in North Carolina of the opening address given by the leader of the NC Senate. We can expect them to make a full court press this year to increase socialism in our state...watch it here.

I am new to this group and live in the Greenville, NC area. As president of the Republican Women of Pitt County, NC. Anyone else near the coastal area?

Currently I live in Bristol Virginia but will be moving to Asheville very soon. I hope to make contacts there quickly and get oriented to the political landscape.

If anyone lives in the area or surrounding areas please friend me so I can get to know what the issues are in that area. God Bless you all.
