Truer Words ...

... were never spoken.

Many of us witnessed the arrogance of Barbara Boxer as she admonished a brigadier general because he addressed her as "ma'am" and not "Senator" before a Senate hearing. This letter is from a National Guard aviator and Captain for Alaska Airlines. I wonder what he would have said if he were really angry. Long fly Alaska !!!!!

Babs:

You were so right on when you scolded the general on TV for using the term, "ma'am," instead of "Senator". After all, in the military, "ma'a… Continue

In Memory of Actor and Patiot, Ron Silver

Please see this op-ed piece from today's Wall Street Journal:

Ron Silver died on Sunday of cancer, at age 62, having starred in movies, theater and politics. As an actor, he won a Tony Award in 1988 for his performance in David Mamet's "Speed-the-Plow," and more recently he was better known for his role as a hard-bitten political consultant on "The West Wing" on television.

But Silver's most notable legacy was his real-life political activism. A self-described life-long liberal, Silver rallied… Continue

Two are my wife's and mine, the third is a "granddog" we are keeping while her son is in the middle-east. They get along fairly well.

Andrea,

Do you have a plan or suggestion to help rebuild the Republican party?

I look forward to working with you and all Republicans to return this nation to its conservative Republican background and return those states we lost back to the right color - Red.

Virginia, Colorado, Florida, Ohio, Indiana, North Carolina, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Iowa all former Red states. How is the time for grassroots Republicans to stand up for the right and fight for the basics the GOP has stood for.

With the election of Joseph Cao in Lousianna and taking a Democrat seat, things are starting to look up for 2010.

With the Gov of IL in trouble trying to sale a senate seat, Democrates are on the ropes. Now is the time for Republican Grassroots to move as a party to share the Republican message.

Never give up, Never quit, Never fail, Always reaching, the GOP will be back.

My wife and I are Miniature Schnauzer fans. I had one (Greta) when we got married. I got in 1979, she died in 1995, Then we went out an got two more, both girls, Willie and Bear, to take Greta's place. One would have been sufficient.
At the present time we are a three Schnauzer household, we are keeping her son's Schnauzer, Shasa Rose, while he is in Iraq.
They are wonderful pets and extremely loyal.
