Jim McGrody, Publisher and Editor of Plaintalk from the Texas Hill Country - It's My Party Too is a moderate Republican. Using his blog,

Republican National Committee (RNC), That election takes place at the end of January 2009.
Do you have a plan or suggestion to help rebuild the Republican party?
I look forward to working with you and all Republicans to return this nation to its conservative Republican background and return those states we lost back to the right color - Red.
Virginia, Colorado, Florida, Ohio, Indiana, North Carolina, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Iowa all former Red states. How is the time for grassroots Republicans to stand up for the right and fight for the basics the GOP has stood for.
With the election of Joseph Cao in Lousianna and taking a Democrat seat, things are starting to look up for 2010.
With the Gov of IL in trouble trying to sale a senate seat, Democrates are on the ropes. Now is the time for Republican Grassroots to move as a party to share the Republican message.
Never give up, Never quit, Never fail, Always reaching, the GOP will be back.
Thanks for the add. To address your surprise that there are Republicans in IL--you have to go out of the urban areas to find them...where people haven't gotten so open-minded that their brains have fallen out.
Hi Christina!

Good to see there really are Republicans in IL! I live near Chicago so they are few and far between here. I am working to support the FairTax in IL. The FairTax will put the IRS out of business so your "Don't Tread On Me" could become a reality.
