With what has just happened to Sarah’s Church, we now, more than ever need to focus on positively supporting Sarah and other Republicans! Every day I mark it down on my Sarah Palin Calendar, so that at the end of the year I know I did everything I could possibly do. I just think having a calendar with a cause reminds you ever day to do something proactive!
Too bad about Daniels, I think there are some high-up GOP & media types that would really like to promote him for the future. I know my dad was all up in arms about his property tax plan.
I'm still an IU basketball fan, but I live in Ohio now and I'm an OSU alum, so I've got to root for my Buckeye football. I'll always have the Colts too!
I'm right there with you about electing statesmen over politicians, Illinois and West Virginia are prime examples of picking the latter over the former.
Here's for a return to Coolidge/Taft/Goldwater conservativism!
Sorry friend, I just grew up near Bloomington, I got out at an early age. I do love me some IU basketball though! Thank reason for The Big Ten Network!
I'm not calling Mitch Daniels a hero, I've just read it around in some articles. I think Michael Barone at US News & World Report had a glowing article about him. My dad, still living in S.Indiana, is a hardcore R, but he voted for Jill Long-Thompson as a protest vote due to Mitch's property tax boondoggle. All I know is that Mitch won a blowout in Indiana's first Democrat year since 1964. That's saying something, I don't know what, but something.
Do you have a plan or suggestion to help rebuild the Republican party?
I look forward to working with you and all Republicans to return this nation to its conservative Republican background and return those states we lost back to the right color - Red.
Virginia, Colorado, Florida, Ohio, Indiana, North Carolina, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Iowa all former Red states. How is the time for grassroots Republicans to stand up for the right and fight for the basics the GOP has stood for.
With the election of Joseph Cao in Lousianna and taking a Democrat seat, things are starting to look up for 2010.
Never give up, Never quit, Never fail, Always reaching, the GOP will be back.

See you around here!
Oh yeah, looks like Mitch Daniels is a new hero in the GOP. Congrats on that.
Welcome to RtP.
