I agree, Ava, much of this work should have already been done. I think some local orgs. have done a better job of embracing the technology, but the biggest problem is the lack of coordination and networking that information and those resources loc...

Hello Fellow Republican,

In January 2009, the Republican Party will be a party out of power. To facilitate dialogue regarding the re-emergence of the Party, I have started a blog called
Plaintalk from the Texas Hill Country - It's My Party Too!

Plaintalk will be focused on the emerging battle for the “heart
of the GOP and the future of America
“.  It will do so by chronicling breaking news feeds and political commentary from local, state and national news sources.

The blog will be updated on a daily basis.  Readers can also sign up for a free online daily newsletter.  I encourage you to visit my blog and I hope that you find it informative. Your comments and feedback are welcome!

Plaintalk can be reached by email: mcgrody@gmail.com or by phone: 830-446-6150

welcome to the Baracudas, if you will be in the Cal area during the Superbowl time , there is a Ride/Drive to Whisket Petes Casino at the Cal/Nev state line. be a 2 day event and rooms run around $103 for the trip.

Expecting over a 100 riders and wives and I will be discussing the Baracuda Bikers and our job of keeping the GOP and our fav candidates name visible

I plan on losing $100 also, hope it takes a day to lose

Jean,

Do you have a plan or suggestion to help rebuild the Republican party?

I look forward to working with you and all Republicans to return this nation to its conservative Republican background and return those states we lost back to the right color - Red.

Virginia, Colorado, Florida, Ohio, Indiana, North Carolina, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Iowa all former Red states. How is the time for grassroots Republicans to stand up for the right and fight for the basics the GOP has stood for.

With the election of Joseph Cao in Lousianna and taking a Democrat seat, things are starting to look up for 2010.

With the Gov of IL in trouble trying to sale a senate seat, Democrates are on the ropes. Now is the time for Republican Grassroots to move as a party to share the Republican message.

Never give up, Never quit, Never fail, Always reaching, the GOP will be back.

Thanks, Chris. Glad to have you as a friend. Actually, we should be promoting this type of networking in all the groups we belong to. I am reluctant, however, to post my private information on the public boards where anyone, even trolls, can see it and start the great spam deluge. Safest thing to do is contact my friends (which includes folks across the country) via private e-mail. Anyway, thanks for the message. I'm delighted to count a Georgia peach amongst my conservative friends

Heya Jean! Glad to meet you. Though I'm in GA and not WA I'll help you out where I can. I have a blogging and social media consulting firm here and am pretty handy with WordPress. I do know some good TypePad folks. I am pretty much ChrisCree most everywhere (my new politics Twitter account @CREEativeRight is a notable exception). I'll keep an eye out for you.

I don't know. As it is, I'm in the far-southern reaches of SnoCo. Almost into King County, just north of Woodinville.

Hi Jean!!
My place is out in Whitman County (Republican turf) but I am stuck in liberal hell for now--near Portland OR. Look forward to getting back home where people are sane and raise their kids to think for themselves (or at all).
