About Me...
I'm a 40 year old math teacher who left the private sector hoping to make a difference in the life of kids. It's frustrating at times, but always rewarding. I'm a staunch conservative who's extremely frustrated with the direction the Republican Party has taken in the past few years.
If you're wondering about the photo I chose as my avatar, it's to encourage donations to one of the most worthwhile organizations I know. Arkansas Children's Hospital accepts all children as patients, regardless of their parents ability to pay. Arkansas Children's Hospital Foundation and St. Jude's Hospital are the two charities to which I donate regularly.

I think the one about July 4th-April 15th might be from President Reagan (sounds like something he would come up with, doesn't it?) And the other quote is a rearrangement of one from Ann Coulter. Her words were: Want to make liberals angry? Defend the United States. Somehow the word "irritate" gathers more grass for me, so I decided to change the phrase around. Please feel free to use it in your blog. I believe in passing the ammunition to my comrade in arms!
