A Very Merry Christmas to All -- A time to be thankful!

As 2008 comes to a close it is time to reflect on all we have learned --- there has been plenty to learn! What is the bottom line~Take time to care about others and what they are working on, listen to thier needs and then figure out how do we all work together to move the ball forward.
In 2009 my goal is to build coalitions with many people. Build bridges across many waters where we have been swimming upstream and then sit and learn from those around us.
My prayer for this next year is that we find common goals between us, caring about one another. Jesus commanded us to "Love one another". My goal is that I can do that...we are much better when we are one rather than divided.

Merry Christmas to all!

Hello Fellow Republican,

In 2005, Christine Todd Whitman, former head of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) under George W. Bush, published her book entitled: “It’s My Party Too: The Battle for the Heart of the GOP and the Future of America.

Among other things, Whitman states, “Moderates have an indispensable role to play — we must bring the Republican Party, and American politics generally, back toward the center. But that won’t happen easily. It is time for Republican moderates to assert forcefully and plainly that this is our Party too, that we not only have a place, but a voice — and not just a voice, but a vision — a vision that is true to the historic principles of our party and our nation.”

In January 2009, the Republican Party will become a party out of power.  Plaintalk from the Texas Hill Country - It's My Party Too! will be focused on the emerging battle for the “heart of the GOP and the future of America“.  It will do so by chronicling breaking news feeds and political commentary from local, state and national news sources.

Plaintalk can be reached by email: mcgrody@gmail.com or by phone: 830-446-6150

Kathy,

Do you have a plan or suggestion to help rebuild the Republican party?

I look forward to working with you and all Republicans to return this nation to its conservative Republican background and return those states we lost back to the right color - Red.

Virginia, Colorado, Florida, Ohio, Indiana, North Carolina, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Iowa all former Red states. How is the time for grassroots Republicans to stand up for the right and fight for the basics the GOP has stood for.

With the election of Joseph Cao in Lousianna and taking a Democrat seat, things are starting to look up for 2010.

With the Gov of IL in trouble trying to sale a senate seat, Democrates are on the ropes. Now is the time for Republican Grassroots to move as a party to share the Republican message.

Never give up, Never quit, Never fail, Always reaching, the GOP will be back.

Hi, I’m Katie, I’m new to Rebuild the Party, but I am so excited about Sarah Palin, and really just ready to help further the conservative agenda! I have been really active in Team Sarah, and just found this site! I’m looking for ways to get involved. Every day I mark it down on my Sarah Palin Calendar, so that at the end of the year I know I did everything I could possibly do. I just think having a calendar with a cause reminds you ever day to do something proactive!
