You start at the grassroots, becoming involved in your local party. From there, you continually keep in contact with your local & state party officials (you may become a local party official yourself) and your representatives.

It is likely that the party does not actually exist in any meaningful form where you live. GOPs are independent county organizations and only function if people volunteer to show up and lead. What county do you live in?
