Mayor Steve Lonegan discussing his gubernatorial run in NJ

Mayor Steve Lonegan is here at Heritage today speaking about his campaign for Governor. Lonegan is running as the conservative in the race. Unnanounced candidate Chris Christie, former US Attorney, is widely seen as the front runner. Christie's position on the issues is unknown but his supporters definitely come from the moderate wing of the party.

Former conservative gubernatorial candidates in NJ have had a tough time. Bret Schundler, former Jersey City ma… Continue

Mobile Tech for the GOP

I just attended the Mobile Monday : Electioneering through Mobile Tech event tonight and it was a rather sobering affair. Cyrus Krohn, one of our sides brightest tech lights couldn't make it so at the last minute Katie Harbath formerly of Giuliani and the RNC pitched in to talk about Republicans and mobile tech.

Sadly, there was not much to talk about on our side. The "non-partisan" (read: Democratic shills) at Rock The Vote talked about how they increased likelihood of registration among young… Continue

Republicans Win When The R Stands for Reform

Today one of the leading stars in suburban Democratic politics switched parties to the Republicans. This is a defection of a local official, but in that it signals I believe the begining of GOP rebranding as the party of good government and keeping spending and taxes under control.

Lets not over blow this but with how bleak things have been a win is a win.

Holy Cao! The need for an Urban GOP

Well I like many others were pleasantly shocked by the win by Joseph Cao in New Orleans yesterday. It was a D+28 district meaning on average it is 28 points more Democratic than the rest of the nation. Obviously, the win would not have happened without Rep. Jefferson's flagrant corruption. However, there is a lesson here for the need for an urban Republican party.

My friend Karol of Alarming News has long been an advocate, which makes sense her being fr… Continue

I personally invite you to group "The 537 Plan" to give us some of your thoughts on how the GOP can retake both the House and Senate in 2010. Who knows, you maybe the next person that gives us what is needed to get over the edge.

Mark: how's it going? Good to see you involved with this man. And great minds must think alike, because I've been beating the urban GOP drumb to anyone who'll listen. Are you still in touch with the YCOPers?

why are these canned posts being made by these folks all over this site? I hope they're not moles for the DNC.

Hi Mark,

I currently live in Ohio but will be moving to the Hershey area shortly after the first of the year. I hope to be active in our party in PA once I get moved.

Mark,

I look forward to working with you and all Republicans to return this nation to its conservative Republican background and return those states we lost back to the right color - Red.

Virginia, Colorado, Florida, Ohio, Indiana, North Carolina, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Iowa all former Red states. How is the time for grassroots Republicans to stand up for the right and fight for the basics the GOP has stood for.

With the election of Joseph Cao in Lousianna and taking a Democrat seat, things are starting to look up for 2010.

Never give up, Never quit, Never fail, Always reaching, the GOP will be back.

Hi, I’m Katie, I’m new to Rebuild the Party, but I am so excited about Sarah Palin, and really just ready to help further the conservative agenda! I have been really active in Team Sarah, and just found this site! I’m looking for ways to get involved. Every day I mark it down on my Sarah Palin Calendar, so that at the end of the year I know I did everything I could possibly do. I just think having a calendar with a cause reminds you ever day to do something proactive!

I was shocked by the win in NOLA too. I used to work over there, got screwed-over business-wise by Nagin and his goon Meffert some time back. That ass Nagin constantly shifts right-2-left-to radically left. Good thing he won!
