Hi, I’m Katie, I am so excited about Sarah Palin, and really just ready to help further the conservative agenda! With what has just happened to Sarah’s Church, we now, more than ever need to focus on positively supporting Sarah and other Republicans! Every day I mark it down on my Sarah Palin Calendar, so that at the end of the year I know I did everything I could possibly do. I just think having a calendar with a cause reminds you ever day to do something proactive!

Matthew, as far as message is concerned, come check out the group I've created here, "Re-Branding the Party" to address that concern.
Matthew, first, thanks for adding me. Second, I love the idea of Factions. For several years, I have only "voted", but now I've seen our Party fall apart and realize I could have been more involved. I can't stand to see our country continue on the path it has gone, but I also realize the GOP has made some serious mistakes and to a large degree has earned it's downfall. Our party was strong when it stood firm on conservativism, when our elected officials did not compromise on their conservative values, and when they did not try to look like Dems to the American public in hopes that they could be re-elected.
Its so ironic, Dem's try to appear 'conservative' to get elected.....yet the Republican's try to become more liberal....and look who's winning. It's time we help remind the remaining GOP members why they were elected and to serve notice on the Dem's that we're coming back stronger than ever with a Party United and a plan to rebuild America with values and integrity.
By nature, I'm a very reserved person, but I have come to a point that I realize a positive change is needed and I want to play a part in uniting our Grand Ole Party. Rebuilding a party that is focused on strengthening America's financial free-market system, protecting individual liberties, building the strongest national defence in the world and once again earning the respect as the greatest country in the world.
The discussion is fascinating. I hope this is the tip of the iceberg and many of these kind of conversations are happening among conservatives.
I feel a sense of urgency and not of a reactive Obama-terror sense. I'm afraid that I will be a part of the generation that will be able to say that they were there when our Republic died. I don't want to bear the shame of that.
Thanks for all you do Matt.
No Fear,

Matthew, Dude... Thanks for your invite. Much Appreciated...
Your idea of "factions" is definitely a good starting point as we need to rebuild this party of Lincoln from the ground up. I find it disgustingly ironic how obama continually refers to Lincoln and I believe the nation will find they are polar opposites. I AGREE with Hannity on all points.
About your question concerning obama coming out with guns blazing or falling flat on his face.... I hope he makes it worthwhile for this Great Nations sake. she is wounded ....pretty badly right now... from both parties with capitol hill greed and indecision. It appears the cabinet he is putting together is more centrist than I expected but...time will tell...ehh.
Matthew, I'm in Iowa and just geting involved in this because I'm sick of the crap going on and DO NOT LIKE the Governor here and /or how the Republican Party is losing seats in congress here in Iowa or Nationally.
Send a note back as I have some ideas on getting the ground game going and your idea of the factions is a good starting point.
Hi! I think the local faction is an awesome idea. It is much easier to track officials and stay in touch at local levels. Also, it is easier to reach people when you can see them face to face. It helps them know that you do understand their issues and concerns. Personally, I would never fully believe that a person from say, Iowa or California, could connect with folks from Graham TX. Although technology and the internet are important, human contact is still key to connecting with people.
About money, I think at least a small amount would be needed to put out information or hold meetings. However, I think the people in the faction should be left to figure those issues out for themselves so long as they stay within practical guidelines to prevent the appeance of fraud, etc.
Thank you for bringing my attention to this site. I am finding it very refreshing and encouraging!
Reading the ideas that are being passed around like hot potatos here has reminded me that the few peices of stink-bait that have run themselves up the Republican falg pole in my state are not representative of most.
Exchanges like the ones here will be the only thing that keeps this country from sliding down the 200 year empire-eating memory hole.
Much appreciate the invitation, Matthew!

Thanks for the friend invite! Looks like we have a lot in common as far as opinions.
As for your Obama question, sometimes I think it'd be better for him to fall flat quickly so that the GOP has a chance to retake some seats in 2010, but I hate for our nation to have to endure what would come with that.
