- OUTSTANDING. Down here, we're improving dialy and significantly with new african-american and hispance recruits into the GOP. Its really amazing, no one has ever told these groups the truth down here, and the guys I work with make Obama's speeches look very thin and weak by comparison.

I hadn't planned on drawing Social Security this early (62), but since I lost my job in February 2008 I have not had a single offer of an interview for anything even near my previous income level. I nearly lost my home and will continue to do whatever I can to supplement my income. I've worked since I was 12 years old and struggle to keep a positive outlook when I don't know from one month to the next whether my wife and I will be able to remain in our home.
My wife is a LEGAL immigrant, from Vladivostok, Russia. She was in the medical profession there, but cannot even get a drivers' license here without a Social Security card - let alone work! Perhaps we are just ignorant, law abiding Americans who foolishly comply with the law, but I've always believed our laws were created to protect our rights as Americans. Before I could even bring my wife to the US I had to provide a great deal of evidence that I would be able to support her without relying upon the government. What a disappointment to discover illegal immigrants are being rewarded for breaking the law by receiving government services. I'm afraid I'm having substantial difficulty understanding why neither my wife or I can work, or get medical care or government services when lawbreakers can. I keep asking myself "What's wrong with this picture?"

- PS the Heritage Foundation give out free CONSTITUTIONS. IT's fascinating to read and most people don't understand how beautifully the framers provided for all kinds of eventualities and created a system that requires a balance and awareness of individual responsibilities and freedoms that is hard for most to understand without taking a class . Set up some classes in your district !!! There are some excellent teachers around. We all could use a refresher in how our law is supposed to work.

Your picture looks nice. I hope you havent given up on politics and I send you support. Have you been to /organized/ any Tea Parties lately ? I ahve been trying to meet and work with people in my area.
Nice people and a mix of different political colors. I think they all have something to add. And everybody is realizing that we have to all stick together to get rid of all the bums and radicals (LEFT)and race partisans and nanny statists.
I think giving out cartons of Levin's Liberyt and Tyranny might help, give them out free at public or school locations, if possible.....

- Hey Big Guy, I've been here, missed the last four days or so. Love what Carmelo said on your page, RIGHT ON!! I'm working with Mark Cherry to unseat Ron Paul in his district. Also working with a group for hispanic community improvement and red recruitment, and we have a Memorial Day tribute with about 100 RtP members showing up down here, plus a ton of other GOP members!

- Mike, The guys you want to email with here are Aaron Simpson and Paul Miessner. They are pretty active strategizing new chairs and candidates. Artemio Muniz is working a primarly latino district in our area too and may run for office. I'm trying to get you their direct emails, but I won't see them again for a week or two.
