People should know the world doesn't hate America because of George W., as msm and Obams's campaign wanted us to believe (a message they as ammunition and made it "un-cool" to be associated with the Republican party). Maybe it sounds cheesy but we...

I am a 29 year old, native northern Californian moderate Republican. The youngest of eight children to working class parents, I was raised in a liberal Democratic family...I suppose I'm the Alex P. Keaton of the family.

After having a successful run as a talent & literary manager, I began to grow frustrated with the industry and my interest in public service grew. I sold my share of my company where I was a managing partner and left the entertainment industry to someday serve a cause greater than myself. I believe that the Republican party needs to refocus and adapt to the changes that are occupying around us. In states and districts, like mine, Republicans will face a great challenge in securing a seat in both state and federal legislatures unless the Republican party find a way to appeal to a broader electorate. I have noticed that IT IS possible to have a great conversation with moderate liberal Democrats who would usually disagree with a traditional Republican.

I am currently a candidate to sit on my counties Consumer Affairs Commission, as well as my cities Citizen Advisory Committee. It is my intention to serve in public office...someday soon.

I need advice and help on running for state office...where's my local GOP party?

I have tried to contact my local Republican Headquarters for some help, but to no avail and it's making me wonder "how are we suppose to advance when no one is responding?"

I have great interest in running as a Republican in a liberal district for California State Assembly and I think NOW is the time to start. The district I live in has always elected a Democrat, however, as far as I can remember and research, not one of the Republican candidates have given the incumbent or Democrat a real run… Continue

To copy or not to copy...

...the Obama campaign craze of 2008?

That's the question I have.

Obama was able to get MILLIONS of working class, middle class, upper class, seniors and students to follow him. How does the GOP pull a Reagan effect in this technological time period? Mr. Obama seemed to do it in 2008 and we need to start it now to make it work in 2010 and have a HUGE impact in 2012.

We need to REALLY rally students (18-25) those in institutions that are constantly being taught liberal ideals...but who access t… Continue

Sorry Nicholas, not a bot, just didn't see that it took and tried it again. Then saw it on there twice. Looking at it, twice like that, I had to smile as I read the title, To copy or not to copy.

I found a good place to explain my idea here:

Nicholas,

Welcome to RtP.

I look forward to working with you and all Republicans to return this nation to its conservative Republican background and return those states we lost back to the right color - Red.

Virginia, Colorado, Florida, Ohio, Indiana, North Carolina, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Iowa all former Red states. How is the time for grassroots Republicans to stand up for the right and fight for the basics the GOP has stood for.

The new Congress has been sworn in, but the results will be the same old agenda. Nothing new. Nancy, Harry and Barak will be feuding to see who is the boss of the Dem party. Now is the time for the Republican party to come together as the real party for change. Change to Real Conservative politics

Never give up, Never quit, Never fail, Always reaching, the GOP will be back.

Good to have you onboard, feel free to comment on the issues. Moderates now play the largest role in the party even though the platform will remain conservative. We look forward to working with you in California. I am in PA so I can only offer intellectual support.
