How much more of B.O. can we really afford? The people of the U.S. have elected a follower, not a leader. Pelosi is leading, B.O. is following.

We need a good conservative to be ready to stand up, take charge, and lead us back into One nation Under God..

Red Skelton - The Pledge of Allegiance

The Pledge of Allegiance was written in 1892 by Francis Bellamy (1855-1931), a Baptist minister. But despite what many believe, it wasn't until the year 1954 that the words "Under God" were added to the Pledge.

The Rev. George M. Docherty has been credited with that addition. Docherty died on Thanksgiving at his home in central Pennsylvania, at the age of 97.

In 1952, Docherty, then pastor of the New York Avenue Presbyterian Church in Washington, gave a sermon in 1952 saying the pledge should… Continue

Term Limits

I for one would like to see term limits in all brances of government, not just the president. I am tired of the career politicains. I am also tired of them drawing huge retirements while people are struggling to survive on Social Security and Medicare. Let them pay into Social Security and draw from that, we would see some Social Security reform then!!
Sorry had to vent..

Priscilla,

Do you have a plan or suggestion to help rebuild the Republican party?

I look forward to working with you and all Republicans to return this nation to its conservative Republican background and return those states we lost back to the right color - Red.

Virginia, Colorado, Florida, Ohio, Indiana, North Carolina, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Iowa all former Red states. How is the time for grassroots Republicans to stand up for the right and fight for the basics the GOP has stood for.

With the election of Joseph Cao in Lousianna and taking a Democrat seat, things are starting to look up for 2010.

Never give up, Never quit, Never fail, Always reaching, the GOP will be back.
