I would migrate it over to a Wordpress platform using a simple off the shelf template and increase the visual friendlyness and usability available with tagging and categroization. This would also ope the site to the community to contribute to.

The Nancy Pelosi Economic Stimulator and Gun Safety Device

Nancy Pelosi, who, by the way thinks you are stupid, let the world know, because we could not figure it out for ourselves that "Family Planning" is good for the economy. Unplanned children will not be conceived because she will give free birth control to women. Unwanted children will not be born because she will have the Government help pay for the abortions. Don't you feel better now? and...oh States will have less problems balancing their budgets. Now I know you feel better. I do so bet you wi… Continue

My Endorsement Of Saul Anuzis For RNC Chair

I just posted my endorsement of Saul Anuzis for Chair of the RNC. The Republican Party needs disruptive change s to its approach to New Media Web 2.0 and the Internet.

Saul Anuzis represent the best chance for that disruptive change. At the same time, Saul is a clear, solid conservative voice for the core principles that Ronald Reagan used to bridge the diverse constituencies and unite them for the central essence that is the truth of… Continue

Dissension That You Feel Here Is The Goal Of Our Enemies

I am convinced that the far left organizations that were the backbone of Obama's volunteer and money source are now, and have been for a very long time, engaged in a campaign of disinformation and subversion aimed at demoralizing the Republican Party. Many of these groups are funded by George Soro's Open Society or one of the hundreds of affiliates of that organization or donors or friends of the affiliates. The web of organizations tied together by the central root of… Continue

Call For Development Of An Activist Empowering Plug-In for GOP Activists

Cross posted at: The 41st Vote.

I am degreed in Computer Information Systems. I do not make my living in the field and am not a "coder". I have always been more focused on the Business Process side of it and how do you use technology to solve a problem and improve processes. That being said, I have become active in my local party and as, you can see from this blog, activist on the web. I am determined to help bridge… Continue

Obama Is Not Through Auctioning The Inaugural

I am subscribed to MYBO...had to keep up with the enemy. Today I got an e-mail offering me a "chance" to attend the inaugural. Ten lucky contributors would be selected to attend the inaugural events. All I had to do was donate more than $5.00 before midnight today. The machine continues. Auctioning the Inauguration seems a little elitist to me, but that is me.

Obama is well into his re-election… Continue

Hi Randy,

I appreciate your comments; keep in mind that the title of RNC Chair isn't lifelong, so who ever takes over, it will just be for a short time if they aren't able to deliver the goods. I'm not going to get too crazy about it unless whoever wins does something demonstrably bad, and no one reacts. Whatever the case may be, I think we're learning from our mistakes, and will eventually make a worthwhile comeback by 2010.

Randy,

Thanks for the CBN post. Where does he say that he clearly believes in muddying the core principles of the Republican Party?

For what it's worth, I think the challenge faced by the RNC is to engage in critical analysis on issues pertaining to the support of our base, coupled with issues that will help us regain a majority of seats in Congress and State Legislatures, leading up to the next Presidential election. Assuming that they are willing to do that kind of legwork, we can look forward to a new-and-improved RNC.

Stephen, I am getting involved at the local Party leve for the first time. I am 55, have a degree in Computer Information Systems but do not work in that field. I think that is actually an advantage at this point.

Some people think technology is an end unto itself. If you do not have a clear vision of what you need to accomplish, you can never select the right tool. The GOP technology base is broken. There may be some very good elements, but no cohesive vision and that is a failure of the vision, not the politics. We need to elect a Chair that will bring a clear voice ennunciating the core principles (and defending them) as well as a vision of the ends that technology can help us achieve. Only then will we start to close the technological gap that exists between parties now.

The party, more than anything needs a vision for how to harness the message, not control it. It seems as if the entire effort over the last few years was aimed at laying out a message designed not to offend anyone rather that inspire people to their core beliefs and match them to our common goals. I am committed to helping to change that.

Randy,

Welcome to RtP.

Do you have a plan or suggestion to help rebuild the Republican party?

I look forward to working with you and all Republicans to return this nation to its conservative Republican background and return those states we lost back to the right color - Red.

Virginia, Colorado, Florida, Ohio, Indiana, North Carolina, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Iowa all former Red states. How is the time for grassroots Republicans to stand up for the right and fight for the basics the GOP has stood for.

With the election of Joseph Cao in Lousianna and taking a Democrat seat, things are starting to look up for 2010.

Never give up, Never quit, Never fail, Always reaching, the GOP will be back.

Stephen
