Stephen, I live in Scottsdale, Arizona where our illegal immigration gets lots of attention. I am a proud American with Mexican parents, both American Citizens who loved this country. My passion is in educating people about the similarities of the true Mexican culture and the Republican Party. Because we are growing in numbers so quickly, it is important that we educate the Mexican people so that they truly understand what they are voting for the next time they vote.
I am just getting started with this mission and will keep you posted as I move forward. Thanks for connecting. Blessings, Hilda Villaverde

Stephen, this is part of a note I sent to Pete Sessions, NRCC CHMN.: Go public with suggestions for improvement and/or mitigation of the agendas; not with petty criticism of the Democrats. State that you are fully supportive of the government of the United States and right now it is controlled by Democrats. Specify some of the alternative suggestions that you are making, and make it clear that Republicans are helpful and positive about the future of the country. Emphasize that the Democrats are fully and completely in charge of the Congress and the White House. We believe that the alternative ideas that we have put forth will lead to a better policy, and a government that is more responsive to the people.

that more or less captures my views on campaign strategy

I think the Republicans here in North Carolina are finally fired up and ready to get our state back. There will be tea parties all over the state on April 15th plus a lot of ltrs, phoe calls and emails. I get very frustrated with our elected laders for not speaking up more to set the record straight. i get tired of hearing Obama always sating what he inherited frm Bush. the Democrats were in charge for 2 years and are responsible for alot of what has happened - especially freddie mac and fannie mae disaster.

I have two things I'm personally doing to get Republicans elected here in Kansas. I am running again in 2010 to unseat a 18 going on 19 year Democrat incumbent. by the name of Bob Grant. I am also the GOTV campaign manager for Secretary of State Republican candidate Kris Kobach as he tries to win that seat in 2010.

One obvious way would be to bring together the best and brightest minds on this -- not just Limbaugh, Hannity, Beck, Levin, Gingrich, Coulter, etc. but also the non-famous as well -- and work out a unified set of plans and a platform which adheres to the Reagenesque conservatiuve principles GWB and then McCain largely abandoned. The GOP hasn't much chance of regaining control of the country simply by being a slightly less offensive version of left-wing Democrats. Core conservative principles of liberty, freedom and self reliance are in stark contrast to the Obama-Reid-Pelosi socialist agenda and we have to present them as a clear and far more attractive alternative to the Democrats' Big Brother all-power-to-the-state totalitarian nightmare.

Sorry Stephen for not getting back to you soon but I do actually have a suggestion . As a young American I feel that the republican party needs to reach out to the young people of America . By that I mean to find common ground and with that an actual team that would go to colleges and other places that young people hang out . One last thing use technology ,if you want people to hear about a canidate create a facebook, or create a channel on youtube.

Who is Stephen Sexton!

A simple, down to earth person that loves God, my famity, and this great nation. I have been married over 29 years with 2 great kids, "both college graduates" and 2 beautiful grandkids.

Educated in the Alabama public schools and graduate of the University of South Alabama.

A veteran of Bosnia, 2 trips to Iraq, a tour of Korea and 2 tours in Germany. I believe America is the greatest nation on earth because of its belief in God. As a Conservative Republican, I believe in less big government, financial/tax fairness, better education as a means to a better life and Pro-Life and of course a strong national defense.

When I retire from the Army, I plan to become very active in the political arena, especially on the state level.

I am a member of the VFW, American Legion, NRA, AARP and Toastmasters.

Never quit, Never give up, Always reaching for the dream.

I am a Republican and I vote.
