Introducing Myself

Hello fellow travelers!!!

I am a blogger, conservative activist, and budding photographer and videographer.

I am also in the process of launching an online network to track the North Carolina General Assembly this January using online resources and and army of volunteers to blitzkrieg coverage of the legislative sessions.

I am looking forward to networking with my new friends and learning how to be a "tech evangelist" for the county, district, and state parties.

I am pumped!!!

BTW...I found this place on twitter.

My online activities can be monitored via my twitter account.

Election 2008 Rewind: NCGOP Chair Linda Daves Addresses the NC-11 GOP Convention

This is a reminder of one of the things that can and should be done by the grass roots (or those who claim to be); to attend political events on the local level and get out the information about them that the local Legacy Media refuse to do...provide the voters with a true and accurate account of the public actions of our political leaders and people running for office. Expensive equipment is not required. I shot these videos with a point and shoot Kodak Z-710, and livestreamed the video with a… Continue

Mission Accomplished, Mr. President

Mr. President,
I want to thank you for keeping this country safe from terrorism in the wake of 9/11 when everyone expected that more attacks would follow regardless of what we did to stop them. You did wha

Tracking the NC General Assembly

My perspective on how we can best attract participation into the party is to actually DO SOMETHING that no one else is doing. In my state, North Carolina, there is no one who covers the day-to-day operations of the NC General Assembly. I haven't a clue what the reporters do. They don't report, that is for sure.

I copied and pasted two posts from my blog as an example below...

Here is the audio of the Joint Select Committee on Economic Development Incentives that was held this morning in the… Continue

Day 18 of Operation Cast Lead, Tuesday Jan 13, 2009

Here is a copy of a blog post on my political blog since the RSS feeds on the Ning network seems to be broken:

I am going to have to scale back my coverage of Operation Cast Lead because it is eating into my time to bring my new social network online for conservatives across NContinue

Are you on Facebook and LinkedIn?

I would like to connect with you there also. I am trying to make more friends and fans so that I can spread awareness for breast cancer during pregnancy. I was diagnosed Stage 3 in the 5th month of my pregnancy in May. My status updates on Facebook and LinkedIn are usually about my fight.

Hello- Jay Johnson here. Just letting you know that my latest book; The New & Improved Republican- Look out, Washington! The GOP is coming back with vengeance! was just released last week. I'll be donating the proceeds back to the NCGOP, Conservative women organizations, College Republicans, etc... I'll be "plugging" rebuildtheparty on Glenn Beck, Hannity, Fox News, etc.. in the upcoming weeks. As soon as my publicist sends me my media schedule, I'll post it here to let all you guys know the dates. I live in Dunn, NC (originally from Raleigh). I am a U.S. Army vet, catholic, father, husband, business owner & passionate capitalist. We need to get much needed funds flowing back to the GOP to secure more seats in congress & the NC House. I also just returned from socialist Europe a few months ago after living there for several years. It's not pretty & it's exactly where we're headed now under the Obama dictatorship. We're going to be taxed to death. In addition, the NCGOP Convention is coming up soon in June- I would love to speak at this convention! Spread the word! Take care! God bless!

Hey Thunder Pig,

Interested in open-source projects amongst the pro-conservative developer movement? Sounds like you've already started locally. I have a small handful of developers who are interested in collaborative projects if you're interested. Drop me a line.

Thunder Pig,

I look forward to working with you and all Republicans to return this nation to its conservative Republican background and return those states we lost back to the right color - Red.

Virginia, Colorado, Florida, Ohio, Indiana, North Carolina, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Iowa all former Red states. How is the time for grassroots Republicans to stand up for the right and fight for the basics the GOP has stood for.

With the election of Joseph Cao in Lousianna and taking a Democrat seat, things are starting to look up for 2010.

Never give up, Never quit, Never fail, Always reaching, the GOP will be back.
