Clueless in Washington:The Continuing Saga:Obama Says Cops Acted Stupidly

In yet another epsiode in the continuing saga of Clueless in Washington: The Obama Presidency, President Obama stated yesterday that police acted "stupidly" in the arrest of a prominent black scholar Henry Louis Gates Jr. .

President Barack Obama said Wednesday that police acted “stupidly” in the arrest of prominent black scholar Henry Louis Gates Jr. and that despite racial progress blacks and Hispanics are still singled out unfairly for arrest.

“This still haunts us,” Obama said.

Obama called Gates a friend, and said he doesn’t know all the facts of the case.

“Cambridge police acted stupidly in arresting somebody when there was already proof he was in own home,” Obama said.

“What I think we know separate and apart from this incident is that there’s a long history in this country of African-Americans and Latinos being stopped by law enforcement disproportionately,” Obama said. “That’s just a fact.”

So here we go again folks, The president admits he does not know all the facts but goes ahead and makes a judgement by declaring that the police acted "stupidly". Can anyone explain to me how if he did not know all the fact he could come to that conclusion. Top this off with the fact that the President should have made a professional statement such as " I won't comment on that right now because I don't know all the facts". Then he adds the race card to the issue, again admittedly without knowing all the facts.

If you read the POLICE REPORT documenting the call and the circumstances behind Professor Gates Jr.'s arrest it is clearly apparent that the Professor is the agressor in the event. It is also quite clear that the Professor has a "chip" on his shoulder for whatever reason.

Here is the gist of what took place:

On July 16, 2009, Cambridge police responded to a call of a possible break in at a residence on Ware St. in Cambridge,MA.. The police spoke with the calling party, a female who stated that she observed two black men with back packs on the porch of the residence in question, one of the men was hitting the door with his shoulder apparently trying to force it open.

The police then proceeded to the residence in question and observed a black male inside the residence. The police confronted the black male, later identifed as Henry Louis Gates Jr., and asked him for identification to prove that he lived there, which he refused to produce, instead he made a comment accusing the police of asking him for ID because he was black. He then telephoned the police station and demanded to speak with the "Chief" (this is standard operating proceedure for the "holier than thou" crowd) stating that he was dealing with a racial officer.

Mr. Gates eventually complied with the police request for identification, all the while hurling "the race" term around, telling officers that this was not over and they didn't know who they were dealing with. Once the officers were satisfied that Mr. Gates was who he said he was, they proceeded to vacate the residence and went outside followed by Mr. Gates who demanded the officers name, which he was provided with at least twice.

One outside Mr. Gates continued to act in loud and boisterous manner with residents and onlookers on the sidewalk gathered about as a result of the disturbance. Mr. Gates was advised by the police to quiet down and return to his residence which he refused to do as a result he was placed under arrest for Disorderly Conduct.

So there you have it folks, read the full REPORT to better understand what the police were faced with, a race baiting Professor, who acted very unprofessionally and in doing so caused a disturbance in his neighborhood which the police acted upon. I see nothing in this report that would leave me to believe that the Police were acting racially. As a matter of fact I see a Professor who was using race to create a problem.

As for the President and his unqualified remarks, no one should be surprised, this is what we have come to expect from the "Clueless One".

They say "Ignorance is Bliss", I offer President Barrack Hussein Obama as living "Proof" of that statement.

..The so-called Pres talking about a local matter and he turns it into a National story..Funny..If he wants to talk about local matters, why not discuss negro crime....That 12% of the pop. is responsible for over 52% of the FBI indexed crime in the Country.....negro crime cost's the Country more in Healthcare....Will emergency healthcare be denied to negro gangbangers?....They may only be in their 20's but they will probably be back with more gunshot wounds in the future, and they use up Blood Supplies, medical resources....But it's OK to deny Granpa a pacemaker?.........A while back, blood donations in the Detroit area were getting low because donors were watching the news and hearing how many Quarts of Donated Blood were being used in ER's on negro gang members and they figured they were not going to support it....Donations are still low and various groups are paying Big Bucks for donors juice..That the donors in the city are useing to keep gas in their cars....World Net Daily had a story yesterday that obongo has a history with the Cambridge Police in Unpaid Tickets from his student days at harvard, and that they were only paid just 2 weeks before he started his campaign.....................................................What a Joke....
