Everyday I write on my Sarah Palin Calendar all of the things I did that day to get Sarah Palin into the White House in 2012. The calendar is an amazing tool in helping me stay focused, everyday I look at the calendar next to my desk, and am reminded of my mission. Even though it doesn't start until January, I have taped a piece of paper above Jan, and started filling in my deeds, this way I will be able to track my progress!
11/1 - I joined Team Sarah and invited all of my friends, I also found the Sarah Palin Calendar and ordered it.
11/2-4 - I volunteered at our local campaign head quarters, making calls.
11/ 5 - I blogged all day long, counter acting all of the hateful things being said about Sarah.
11/ 6 - I received my calendar and was inspired to start taking action every day! On my first day I wrote a letter to the editor regarding an unflattering article about Sarah Palin.
11/7 - I called into a few local radio talk shows and voiced my disappointment about the McCain/Palin ticket's loss, but also my hope and dedication for Sarah to return to the campaign trail in 2012.
11/8 - Ordered more calendars to give to everyone I know, fan or foe, it doesn't matter, it is my hope that if they see these photos they will be as inspired as I am!
11/9 - Went to church, where I prayed for Sarah, and then discussed politics with my fellow parishioners over coffee.
11/10 - Wrote my federal and state representatives voicing my support for Sarah Palin and urging them to do all they can to help her in the future. (I am lucky enough to have Republicans representing me).
11/11 - Wrote Planned Parenthood leaders and voiced my concerns about abortion, and told them I would pray for the mothers and for them.
11/12 - Wrote to the National Republican Party, my state, city, and local GOP leaders voicing my support for Sarah Palin and urging them to do all they can to help her in the future.
11/13 - Wrote to Political Hosts on MSNBC & CNN telling them that people support Sarah, and find her inspirational, and we are sick of the bashing.
11/14 - I started this group to try an inspire others to help too.
That was just the first two weeks!!! Since then I have organized a group of Republican women who I have started having planning meetings with. We are trying to decide the best course of action on how to get our community behind Sarah. I have also contacted the Governor's office requesting PAC information, unfortunately I haven't heard back yet. And tons of other small things, like letters to the editor and leaders as well as blogging, and then today I joined this, to get more people motivated!
So what have you done for Sarah?
