The national entitlement agenda scares me as much as the overspending with this new administration. Turning around the deep-seated programs he has in mind will be almost impossible, and are sure to keep us overspending for years to come.

Comment by Dan Croft on April 10, 2009 at 10:40am: It is quite compelling. Particularly when comparing inflation adjusted dollars of previous emergencies. It gives one the sense that all of these institutions are more than in crisis, but insolvent. This is much more than preventing economic collapse. This is about control. As we have seen with GM. When the government buys it, they own it. We will be seeing the same thing when they take over healthcare. It is already visible within medicare and medicaide. Mandates from government bureaus are required for payment of services. These mandates have unintended consquenses, but of course, best healthcare isn't the point either!

Spot on!!! Its videos like this we need to keep circulating so motivated conservatives stay focused and on point, also to help inform the not so motivated in our nation of the seriousness of overspending. We need to keep pushing back!!! As it stands right now; by July of 2011, every man, women, child and new born baby will owe an estimated 132,000.00 dollars. (That number is just intolerable)
