Sarah Palin Endorsed the Conservative Party Candidate

There was a Special Congressional Election in New York State's Republican North Country and a Democrat won! In doing the research several weeks before the election when the Republican candidate was still in the race we had surmised that she and the "Conservative Party" candidate would "split the vote" and still one of them would prevail because Republicans vastly outnumbered the Democrats and the always viable Workers Family Party in registered voters.

Lake Placid is a beautiful village in the North Country of New York State and is the location of Conservative Party Congressional Candidate Doug Hoffman's residence (and he may run again in 2010 for a full term) but it is not in the 23rd Congressional District. That may have been a factor in the election's result, as the residents there are wary of outsiders meddling in their elections.

We have written an article with all the voter registration and election results, Click Underlined Link:

What Happened In New York's 23rd?

Had things been better organized by the Republicans, and they had not supported a Republican who actually discussed switching parties after "winning" then a good Republican candidate might have won. Hoffman's very close margin was quite impressive if you consider that Dede what's her name was still on the ballot and endorsed the Democrat. The Republicans really messed up on this, and that's what happened. I think that they'll get a better candidate in there next time through a primary and the Republican will win the seat back. Perhaps it was a good lesson learned. I am not overly impressed with the Republican party in our area or in our state (NY). I'm ready to move out!

2 words - ground game - Owens had a very effective ground game that took advantage of the NRCC bungling in that district.

Kinda late huh? When the bombs are ready loaded nobody doubts they will fall on the enemy. After the mission fails, everybody come with excuses and blame games.
