As an entrepreneur and employer of many young people, the one thing the Republican Party lacks is the ability to connect with young people. They are ideologues of the Democratic Party's message and they don't even know why.
Republicans to need to reach the young voters as did Obama in the past election. Furthermore, the party needs to reshape some of it's beholden special interest voters to capture the centrist & independent voters along with the young.

Let's find that Reaganesque Candidate. My first election as an eligible voter was 1984 and I couldn't wait to vote for Ronald Reagan. Believe me I know, I voted for the Bob Dole's and John McCains, but those guys just can't cut it as leaders of our parties.

We need a leader who inspires passion & can communicate the conservative Republican message. I was in high school & college during the Reagan years, & having a passionate communicator helped many of my contemporaries begin the journey to conservatism even before getting a job in the real world.

We don't need to fade the colors or water down any part of the conservative Republican platform - I'll skip to conservative social values - no fading of these at all.

If we have candidates who can communicate the conservative Republican party platform, selling it with a passion that only comes from true belief in the ideals, we will win more than lose & attract more of the younger voters - as well as all voters. The swing voter does not want some milquetoast moderate who does not believe strongly in anything - the swing voter wants a clear choice & someone who believes in what he or she is selling.

I am a conservative, but also a realist. As a private school student I can appreciate how the NEA has destroyed our public school system. Being a Floridian, I can tell you Jeb Bush had the right plan for vouchers and getting kids into private school. It's going to take decades to change the philosophies that has pervaded the minds of our children. However in the meantime we have to chip away in the right direction like the left has chipped away in their direction. You can't get it all in one ball of wax.

I am not interested in capturing "the centrist & independent voters along with the young."
I am interested in pulling them back from the dark side of liberalism which they are being taught in NEA dominated schools.
Republicanism and conservatism could have gotten the youth vote this past year if it had done a better job of choosing its candidate.
Ron Paul was doing a good if not better than Obama.
The Republicans MUST run to the right, not away from it.
