The Democrat's Great White Whale - Government Controlled Healthcare

I'd say we all are familiar with the story of Captain Ahab's disastrous obsession with Moby Dick. His obsession cost him his life, the life of his crew, & also took away his living while he was alive. For the Democrats, it seems that Government Controlled Healthcare i....
They have not learned the lesson from 1993-1994. They did not lose congress because they didn't pass government controlled healthcare - they lost because they proposed it. Now, their mindset is to pass a government controlled healthcare bill regardless of what the bill actually contains - they think passing something is the key to re-election. Just like Ahab & his crew were not prepared to actually capture Moby Dick & were destroyed in the process, so may the Democrats be destroyed if they push through some horrid government controlled healthcare bill. They are in a lose-lose situation & do not see it. If it doesn't pass, they are set to be hammered for proposing it & pushing it so hard & with such venom toward the American people who don't want it. If it passes, they are set to be hammered just as hard or harder for shoving this down the throats of the American people, who don't want it.
For us, opposition is vital. We must fight this tooth & nail, constantly exposing the terrible aspects of this draconian legislation. As we can see from the scramble among Democrat House members who fought to be allowed by the imperial leadership of Madame Pelosi, senators up for re-election on the Democrat side will want nothing to do with this bill. Ahab's crew, at least a majority, were willing to go down with the ship. I'm not sure if the Democrats who don't want to go down with the ship will be as docile as the members of Ahab's crew who were not so keen to die with Ahab & the white whale.
