Do you have a plan or suggestion to help rebuild the Republican party?
I look forward to working with you and all Republicans to return this nation to its conservative Republican background and return those states we lost back to the right color - Red.
Virginia, Colorado, Florida, Ohio, Indiana, North Carolina, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Iowa all former Red states. How is the time for grassroots Republicans to stand up for the right and fight for the basics the GOP has stood for.
With the election of Joseph Cao in Lousianna and taking a Democrat seat, things are starting to look up for 2010.
With the Gov of IL in trouble trying to sale a senate seat, Democrates are on the ropes. Now is the time for Republican Grassroots to move as a party to share the Republican message.
Never give up, Never quit, Never fail, Always reaching, the GOP will be back.
Sorry I have not gotten back to you earlier but I have been busy. I am helping a friend build a WP MU blog. and we had a couple snags. But we have mostly got it done. And Iam also in the process of moving my blog to a different hosting service.
But I am definitely on board to help get the country and the GOP back on the right track. Hopefully we can come up with some good solutions to get all of us the Conservative side to work together and not fight against each other. We are too fractionalized right now, and the party has lost its way and have become big time spenders like the Left in this country. we need to get back to basics of Conservative thought: limited Government,Strong Defense and Personal Freedom. And I will be happy to be part of this dialogue.
Rolando, Saw your comments on a wall that you are moving up to Wisconsin. Good luck, a lot of my familiy is up there and a good number are Republicans. However they have had a dog fight on their hands for a while especially being in Daley and now Obama's backyard.
Thanks for the invite, Rolando! Sounds like you are ready to do some of the hard work. It looks like I am in the same boat as asp below, though Goldwater was a little before my understanding politics! I supported Ron Paul from when I first discovered he was running in April, '07, and would have written in Baldwin here in NC if it would have counted. So I voted against Obama by voting McCain, but he was a sorry candidate! Surely we can do better in the future! Looking forward to better days! ~Bev
Thank you for considering me a friend. I am a "mature", some might add senile, conservative with libertarian leanings, ala Goldwater .
I voted for Ron Paul in the Texas primary which was held post McCain's anointing as the GOP candidate. In the general election, I voted for Chuck Baldwin, Constitution Party. I suppose one could consider it a protest vote. McCain was going to carry Texas (perhaps it was the other way around) anyhow.
I am a big fan of Governor Palin.
Just thought you should know what you bought into. asp
Thanks for the invite Rolando. I got to know a whole bunch of Florida people when I worked the multiple hurricanes in "04. It's gonna be great talking to all of you. I have a web site and if you want to visit it here is the URL: baregrass.net. It's mostly just about my state but my political rants are there as well!

Great pictures. I see you supported Huckabee. There is one big thing Huckabee and I have in common -- we both support the FairTax.
