Hi David - I'm glad you and yours are ok. I saw the tornado as it was moving across I-24. One of the cameras on a building was streaming live. It was huge and certainly did a lot of damage.
It's good to have you as a friend. Thank you so much for your service and sacrifices for our country. Looking forward to rebuilding this Party with you here in TN.
Lori, I just stuimbled across your page and found the link to Anticrat. Thanks for posting it. What a great site. I'm hooked!
Thank you, David! Your kind words are very much appreciated. I'm so glad you enjoy the site :)
Also, thank you so very much for your service. My gratitude is endless, truly.

We shipmates need to stick together. FYI I was enlisted for 13 (IS1 chief select) years prior to going LDO intel. I know Intelligence Officer is the ultimate oxymoron.

To what are you referring?
I do not believe, in any of my musings, that I suggested a move toward the yellow stripe."
No, indeed you did not make any comment suggesting a move to the center. I was merely commenting on a post you made re: moving to the center and was agreeing with you :o)
I appreciate your comment, it means a lot to me. But I also want you to know that I do what I do for the veterans because I don't know of any other way to show how thankful I am to be living in this country. I am second generation in this country and I know how much my grandparents struggled to start with nothing and build a life here. Today, most of us in the second generation of my family have gone to college. We are nurses, lawyers, teachers, business people, mothers, fathers and yes, even social workers. The third generation is just now working on finishing college or serving our nation and again are working in everything from teaching, healthcare, construction, business...etc. From very humble beginnings our family has worked to become who we are today and I truly believe that our success is based on my grandparents belief that this was the greatest country on earth and that their sacrifice would benefit us all. This country allowed my grandparents to move here. They had sponsors, they worked, they asked for nothing other than the opportunity to work and build their family. Each morning I awake thankful that I am an American. Not a hyphenated American, but a good old fashioned Red, White and Blue one! And everyday when I go to work and assist these veterans and their families I am saying thank you to them for their service and for their willingness to defend not only this incredible country but the principals on which this country was founded. I say thank you from me, and I like to think I say thank you for my grandparents too.
I look forward to working with you and all Republicans to return this nation to its conservative Republican background and return those states we lost back to the right color.
With the election of Joseph Cao in Lousianna and taking a Democrat House seat, things are starting to look up for 2010.
