Peter Johnson

Peter maintains a life-long love for education, is a former teacher and school principal. He graduated from Oak Brook College of Law and Government Policy in 2003. Peter has worked as an advocate for parental rights, has appeared on CNN Sunday Night and has been quoted in Texas and national media. Peter and his wife Nanette have four children, two grandchildren and live in East Bernard, Texas

Tom Sanders

Tom is a 25-year trial attorney and mediator who has represented families under attack by the state for two decades. He is a prolific lecturer and officiates as legal counsel for the Home School Legal Defense Fund. He has been married for 28 years and has six children, all of whom have been home educated. Tom serves as a board member for the mission’s organization World Harvest Now and as a board member and basketball coach for the Homeschool Christian Youth Association, a sports and education organization based in the Houston, Texas area.


Bill Peacock

Bill is the Vice President of Administration and Director of the Texas Public Policy Foundation’s Center for Economic Freedom. He has extensive experience in Texas government and policy on a variety of issues, including economic and regulatory policy, natural resources, public finance and public education. He lives with his wife Kelly and son, William, in Austin, Texas.

Michael Quinn Sullivan

Michael is president and CEO of Empower Texans and its premier project, Texans for Fiscal Responsibility. Most recently, he spent five years with Texas Public Policy Foundation. He has worked on political campaigns and trained conservative and libertarian leaders on effective communications strategies. Michael lives in Austin with his wife and three children.




Robert X. Johnson

Robert is a registered professional parliamentarian long active in Texas Republican Party political circles and a staunch advocate of the rule of law and a deliberative assembly. Bob is a dad and granddad and lives with his wife in San Antonio.
